Thanks heeps this thread helped me , I had the o2 sensor light on my dash this morning , I was suspicious that it could be the exhaust because I have the xr6t exhaust on a N/a Xr but I took the battery terminal off and it hasnt come back yet. I still need to do more testing but hopefully it wont come back

Are the scuff plates from an XT to an XR the same?

Ive seen mesh cable tied over the top of the xr grill and it actually looks good , you can barely notice the grill behind it... inless the mesh has wide holes of course , but the mesh I was looking at was really small and compact

just get a XR6 turbo or typhoon full exhaust second hand (I paid $150 for mine from the forums) and have an exhaust shop weld it up for you , its not as loud as most after market systems which can get annoying when u cant hear your self talk with the windows down sometimes lol. but with the stock turbo exhaust you get a nice note out of it , or you could spend up to $1500 getting one from a shop if you have the money. check out the best bang for your buck thread

shouldnt your car already have airbags that you can use? dont forget the steering wheel that's pretty easy to install just need to get your self a torx set. personally id just use the seats , door trims, steering/w , leather handbrake, and other leather crap etc and wouldnt worry about the little things... like the adjustable break pedal I think they have? lol

Steering wheel , seats and I think door bump strips are matching the cars colour or red?? , instead of black like GLI or Futura. and same with mirrors I think they match the cars colour . as for the motor , dont the xr6 have the tickford motor with the red engine cover? I think its just a bit better tuned than GLI or futura also check for extras like electric seats , power windows ,extra air con vents etc. also check the dash im not sure whether they are different or not ive only been in EL-EF fairmont and GLI's

Hi guys , I have a slight problem with my gearbox, Ok so when ever I start the car and drive as soon as it gets to 3rd it will... Pretty much neutral bomb into 4th and only does it when its cold.. Ive been eager to change the transmission oil in it for a while but I dont get much time to play around with it anymore. Has anyone ever had this problem before? and what could be the most likely cause? its a BF MKI 4spd Auto
