I had this when I changed my clutch fluid I had to repeat pushing the pedal in and out a lot of times to clean the fluid out and the the sound started, it sounded like a springy annoying sound I tried spraying everything I could find but didnt help at all it just went away after a week of normal use so I guess I was lucky

I doubt they would change the ecu settings it would most likely just be the heat these cars loose a lot of power in hot weather if u have a better intercooler you wont notice it as much. as for the axle tramp a harder set of springs and decent shocks will stop that, my bf has always done it until I changed the springs and shocks
  5. in my oppinion its not kms that kill a car its age/maintenance for example I have had an eb falcon 400,000kms on it and never had a problem with it yet my latest work car el falcon 150000kms is an absolute lemon I get major problems every week or so it was a waste of money but the previous owner didnt really look after it that well and I new that when I bought it. I dont see why a ba turbo or any other car wont last for many more years as long as u look after it, you may get the odd problem but what car doesnt. taxis have done a million kms and going strong so unless your car is turning into a lemon or you are bored with it theres no real need to sell up.
  6. people are going to do it if its illegal or not, im a sensible driver with the odd squirt when its SAFE, I also use my phone ocasionally but driving comes first but really who doesnt use their phone, a lot of my mates use it also but always put it down when a turn is coming up or somthing that requires a bit of concentration and they or I dont even come close to an accident or a near miss. Its the stupid drivers that kill people weather theres laws or not one of my mates who is just a fu**head of a driver will purposly flog his car infront of kids wich is just stupid or use his phone sitting on facebook or txting the entire ride having near misses every km or so sometimes we dont even feel safe in the car with him driving and I along with everyone else in the car tells him to not do it stop being a BEEP but he thinks hes invinsible and tells us to relax its ok, its people like this who need to be off the road but how are cops going to no who are the good drivers just going for a sunday drive or on there phone but being safe at the same time compared to idiots...they dont and were paying for it. at the end of the day life aint fair and u have to put up with it road tolls are never going to drop to zero no matter how many laws there are because there are always going to be idiot drivers who ruin it for everyone else.
  7. factory cats are usually 400 cpsi but I dont think 300 will make it overboost, probably best to ask one of the forum sponsors who tune these cars
  8. did you notice much change in acceleration between the 2 cars? (obviously the f6 is faster)

  10. could try cleaning your throttle body every time my revs fluctuate a bit I clean it comes back good as new, you said you have done your coils did you check to see how the plugs are?
  11. its only rated to 1600 because the clutch is so sh*t, upgrade that and it wont give you any problems
  12. does anyone still have a copy of the directions for the dam buster cruise? any chance you could take a pic of the pages and load them up? cheers
  13. theres not much you can do without a tune just the usual K&N filter, F6 second intake snorkel and maybe remove the center muffler on your zorst for a bit of sound but that might ruin your warrenty im not to sure
  14. my bf turbo stock somtimes does that to u will turn the key motor will turn a little bit then stop for a moment then finally kickover as if the battery doesnt have enough juice in it yet the battery is fine it has only happend about 3 times in the year but on the days it has happened it will do it about 2-3 times
  15. they should be the same shouldn't they, my bf1 has 322 fronts apparently ford didnt upgrade them with the fg
  16. might help to disconect the battery for an hour or so to reset the computer so it will have to learn everything again when u start the car again after you clean the T/B
  17. is there much difrence between the standard exhaust manifold and an aftermarket manifold in the stock position on a ba/f turbo, 1200 would seem a bit much if there wasnt results?
  18. cheers for the tip ratter I have done some calculations to work it out but will use water to get a final result just to be accurate for the tuner I didnt think he would need it. the base plate of the plenum is threaded so the bolts stay in the plenum although I can take them out once welded but its a c*** of a job, I drilled out the thread on the manifold so it slips in and out and I can tighten it down with nuts from the underside of the manifold, how I was going to bolt it down was the biggest issues I had to work out but this seemed the best way my brother is also an apprentice boilermaker and has helped me out on this project the whole way and he has considered making a few up to sell now that we no how to do it but that is still a maybe and a long way down the track we want to get this one done first
  19. well its been a few months designing and making my plenum in my spare time and I thought I would put up some pics to see what you guys think, its almost finished so I will add the rest of the pics at a later date. there has been some design changes as the project moves on so far the cost is still under $100 which is the reason I decided to make it in the first place because I just didnt have the money for an aftermarket plenum. Being an apprentice boilermaker I can get most of the material and tools from work which is why it is so cheep for me. hope you guys enjoy the pics as its been fun for me to make this and have learnt a lot about plenums and my trade doing this

  21. quick question about changing fuel injectors, do you need to take the plenum off to change your fuel injectors or can u leave it on?
  22. f6 second intake snorkel also makes a difrence, not so much for power but I noticed better throttle responce.

I was having a look around on the net and found this Custom Standard Position Exhaust Manifold Suit 6cyl Falcon BA, BF, FG & FPV models - PerformanceForums do any of use think it would be worth it if you didn't want to upgrade your turbo and your manifold to a high mount also would it help number 6 cyl or is it just as bad as the standard manifold (sorry I dont know much about exhaust manifold designs)
