  1. How far are you planning on taking the car? there is lots of different options out there. I would class stage 1 as -hi flow cat -tune -replacement piping -xr8 snorkel and cut a hole in the lower section of your airbox should see you around the 275ish rwkw mark injectors will be maxed stage 2 -injectors (get f6 injectors for a cheaper option rather than dekkas, in saying that depends how far you want to go) -Intercooler -dump -CAI -retune to suit should see you around the 310ish rwkw mark stage 3 -turbo porting ( internal gate diameter enlarged to at least 38mm) -stronger actuator -t04z compressor wheel -0.70 A/R compressor housing -3.5' or 4' cat back again depending on how far you want to take the car in the future -retune to suit many different options out there, feel free anyone to correct my suggestions I'm currently going through stage 3 at the moment but throwing a set of valve springs and a harmonic balancer at it aswell for good measure. simon from xtreme ford tuning is without a doubt the tuner to see in w.a have a think about staying with a particular manufacturer aswell example (pw race airbox wont fit with plazmaman piping etc etc) also if you can afford to do it all at once, saves alot of money in retuning check out the 300+ and 400+ section, should give you a good idea of the path to choose
  2. I would of thought the zf box would shift automatically if it sensed the car was on limit for too long.
  3. Dump & Cat system 4inch Mild steel dump pipe 4inch race cat 4inch centre conecting pipe suits factory rear system $900 Dump pipe 4inch Mild steel $450 get in touch with chris from rapidsystems. should be able to sort you out
  4. Top choice of tuner
  5. that's correct although considering your not going for power more a loud note I'd probably be going a 3.5inch
  6. How much boost was required to make that figure?
  7. 4" Dump And Full 4" inch system. leave 2 mufflers in it for starters but if you think that's not loud enough cut one out.
  8. Congratulations mate, no better feeling than picking up a new car
  9. Question is whether or not you want to keep your warranty?
  10. Car: Fg 50th Xr6t Ute Trans: Tr6060 Power: 323.8rwkw Boost: 14psi Induction: PW Race Air box Turbo: flapper mod 14lb actuator Intercooler: PW stage 2 Valve Springs: stock Exhaust: 4" Split dump 100cell cat and 4" System Fuel system: Xspurts
  11. Rab what are you changeing your oil too. was thinking of dropping my gearbox and diff oils soon and using redline, did the engine oil at 2000km after I got my mods done
  12. Run it in with 300+ at the treads as im doing with mine lol
  13. yeah that's the standard housing, will look at comp wheel and front housing at 10,000ks
  14. Hey All, just had my 50th annie tuned she made 323.8kw and 856nm with the following mods... -Process West Race Air Box -Process West Stage 2 Intercooler Kit -Process West Surge tank -Xspurt Injectors -4 Inch Full System -Waste gate ported/Flapper -14lb Actuator -Tune by clinton from Profile Tuning only running 14 psi through her at the moment until she gets a few more k's under her belt.
  15. was thinking that worm but I want to look at valve springs and a few other bits and pieces first before pushing more boost through it
  16. yeah mate I dont intend on driving it too hard for a while, just a couple of spurts here and there. will probably get 1 tune running minimum boost and just a race tune without wringing its neck out. will look at valve springs and maybe a rebuild later on down the track just for the headroom.
  17. hopefully running somewhere around 300 and wont even have its 3000km service hahaha
  18. Hey guys, so the ute has had its first mods, -Process West Stage 2 cooler kit -Process West Race Air box -Rapid Systems Relocation kit Goes in for its Full 4 inch exhaust next week, then off to the tuner that weekend to be tuned and have Xspurt Injectors and Process West surge tank installed along with porting of the Exhaust housing, flapper mod and 14lb actuator,
  19. sounds good, just gotta sort some parts out hopefully through hiro as I see he is from brisbane aswell. looking at keeping it all plazmaman, will just start collecting gear now and in hopefully 3 monthsish time just do the mods all in one big hit.
  20. Yeah, I wanna aim for low 300's. so you reckon it would be fine to start tuning her shortly? its got 500 on the clock already
