  3. any space for a noob on the cruise??
  4. Yeah went up and took pics but no Xr's at all.........few dunnydores etc...but there were heaps of escorts.....two cosworth powered ones and an original Zakspped Mk2 from Germany running super-charged rotary(log booked and all). A work of art, full floating atlas rear end left hand drive etc....not that it means much to most people on here......everyone needs a dash of Ford culture every now and again. Put it this way........this car was a German TC in 1976........equiv of a Craig Lowndes Race car of today but in 33 years time...............Kick Ar*e! Will post some pics soon
  5. Thanks Superdan will give it a go in the morning. I am guessing its just a build up of air?
  6. Is anyone going to the Gatton Sprints tommorrow? Or even competeing? I am heading up mid- morning if anyone keen?
  7. I have a BF2 XR6T and I have the same prob at low speeds. When I use to work for Expensive Daewoo in the service dept, the VY's had this same problem and in the end all they did was lengthen the power steering hoses to take out the vibration. It seemed to work for the Dunnydores. I am going to take my BF into Ford to see about it soon. Has anyone had any recent success from Ford?
  8. Yeah just did first oil change today on my T and I went out and bought Castrol Edge 0W40. Had to pay $150 for 10 litres of oil though. A tip for anyone, check the back of your grocery receipts for 20% off vouchers at Repco, SuperCheap etc. You may save your self enough to pay for the Filter. I paid $16.00 for a motorcraft one from ford. Is that a good price?
  9. Cheers mate. I ran the car as normal..spare tyre and all but I did have 1/4 tank and all my camera gear in the back. It was done at about 2.30pm so I will be keen to go out there in winter and see what it does. Hopefully it will have some go fast gear on it by then.
  10. Well I finally did it!!! 13.933 2.271 60ft 102.86MPH 24 deg 70% Humidity 1012mB 45 deg TT Is this time ok?
  11. Hi all, jsut about to head out to Willowbank for another run...totally standard but this time I will turn off traction control. Will post my times in a few hours or so.......Hoping for 13's........
  12. Yeah I know...bad pics...but serios? it is hard as to get any pics in there. Well if anyone is still reading this thread I would be interested to hear their comments on my last msg about the ac piping..should I cover it up with some hose etc? Also I am thinking of making a customn Ally pipe from the cross-over the the CAI using turbo hose, clamps etc. Big question, I am thinking of doing this tomoz and going for a drive of about 100klms or so b4 saturday. SHould I run it down the strip on saturday or really do a power pass at the dyno to check on AFR's?
  13. Nice vids, did you go for the bigger houseing to get the flow? I hear they(0.70) are good for aver 700hp now.......well that's going off of Nizpro's 1300 Dragcar. Cant wait to hear what you post down the quarter......10's maybe?
  14. Congrats mate!! Must feel great to drive...I hope to one day be posting the same thing. Well done.
  15. ok some pics....they were hard to take and harder to look at...lol
  16. Thanks for the input guys....I cut some tape holding the lighting loom which gave me some more room. I managed to fit it in but the bottom of the CAI seems to be slightly pushing on the AC piping and the side of the CAI is still hard up against the headlight. I have taken some pics and will post them later tonight...my PC died this morning. Do they usually rest on the AC piping? I was considering puting some heater pipe with a slit in it to sit on the AC piping to stop rubbing and possible wear. As for the head light side I was considering just filing down the side that hits it by about 5-10mm(possibly cut). Does this sound like a good option? Sorry to harp on about it but I am just so keen to get it on and go to the drags this Saturday......I want at least a 13 second.
  17. All good mate, it has to fit some how........SS Industions only list the one part number for both BA-BF Turbo's.............Have been trying to look for some stuff on here but I seem to be the only one having trouble. Did it foul on your head light? I can only imagen that BA & BF would be exactly the same. I am going to have another look in the morning, maybe something I am not seeing......who knows. If anyone has had troubles or have had this prob b4 please let me know what you did...Thanks
  18. Hi peepz....just picked up a SS Inductions Growler that came off of a BA XR6T......tried to install to my BF2 XR6T and found it would not fit....it kept on fouling on the headlight...is there something I am missing? It just look slike it is not going to fit.

  22. Yeah it is auto.......I did not worry about dropping tyre pressure as there was no wheel spin. I will get my exhaust(cat back) in the next few weeks so I will head out again and see what happens.
  23. Hi guys, just took my stocko BF2 to Willowbank tonight, did 3 runs...first one remembered to tuen off traction control and just floored it off the line..got [email protected]. @nd run forgot about TC and it bogged down (I actually tried stalling it up) ran a 14.12. Third run stalled it up to about 2000rpm or a little more, again forgot about TC (slaptotheface) and ran a 14.30...........had a completely full tank of gas and spare tyre still in.....I was happy enough for first run but now the mods come.........
