Legality of fibreglass bonnets is that they are illegal, unless you have a peice of paper that says it complies to ADR`s . Most people put them on regardless. Thinks to look out for once fitted is warpage form heat and cracks around the strut mounts of the bonnets. there are lots of different versions out there. Capa had some Custom steelies advertised a while ago but they were very expensive. Most people opt for a 2nd hand xr8 bonnet and take it from there.

Well, I think my radiator is leaking from the plastic end tank. Anybody recommend a good place in Melbourne to buy a replacement or get one fitted. I know I can ge one of ebay for under $200.00, any body had any experience. If they are crap I would rather get something better. Are they harder to replace than on a normal car? Cheers.

Also mate water can leak in through the licence plate screw holes as well. I put some adhesive rubber over the screw holes and then screwed the licence plate on. Fixes it well.

Mate don`t full yourself people are being booked for it now. The object is to raise revenue for the pollies, coppers dont`t have a choice and for all you know counts on their statistics for the day. The truth is I blame Ford Australia for this, They should have put driving lights in and if people wanted to put fog lights on that is their perogative. It is illegal in vic mate, brumby has made it law that you will get fined, I think it was $112.00 if you are using them in clear conditions.

look inside the boot behind where you licence plate is, water can enter from the screw holes. I have put a rubber seal over the holes and then put my licence plate back on. No more leak.

yep mines got a crack in it to, and I`m only a little bloke. It`s cracked from getting in and out of the car.

I need to get my car serviced as it is now due. I normally take it to HPF in dandenong but I live in bentleigh. I have been happy with HPF but am looking for somewhere closer. Can anyone recommend someone they use that are reasonably priced and happy with there service. I want someone who knows the xr6 turbo`s ahd the missus Territory comes out of warranty in 8 months so they will be looking after that too. Also want someone who treats the cars well and wont end up scratching them etc. Just had the missus Terry service at Ford and picked it up there was a chunk out of the rim from when they took the tyres of with the rattle gun. They denied they did it but ended up replacing the rim anyway.As I told them they are the only people the cars ever been to and we have never had the wheels off.
