Sadly you are wrong, I did my oil change on monday and inspected my earl filter to find it had caught 3 or 4 small particles of metal that would have ended up in my turbo. Please guys, If you have one fitted let people know what you find as opinions like these will ruin someones turbo. Not having a go at you, Just thought you should know.

Sorry Pookey, it appears that people just copy the topic straight from smh and put the same title in the thread. But it does grate me that eveybody is willing to put their boot into ford. The more of these dooms day articles that appear the more everybody gets nervous. Any body know where is a place in Oz to get closed cell foam and Mass Loaded vinyl? Not much choice in Oz and freight from US is a killer due to weight for under the carpet (floor pan) This is for a friend any advice would be appreciated.

Everybody is different and has a different body shape, Depends if your skin and bones and want to put on bulk or if you just got a bit of a gut and want to lose that and put on muscle as well. Protien shakes work and that's the truth you will pack on bulk quicker with protein shakes than just eating lots of eggs. Do your research, Subscribe to a fitness magazine( I find mens fitness to be good) You tube is also your friend. Diet is also very important cut out the fast food and eat plenty of protein, but don`t overeat in one sitting. If you trying to lose around you gut cardio is the only thing that will do this. (I walk 10k`s 5 days a week and gym 5 days a week) Best of all stay motivated and dont quit.

Hey I got Jet in my number plates and don`t get hassled, but I do drive pretty sedately on public roads.

I have read the top gear magazine and it`s a farce they have no idea whats going on .It`s just another part of APC magazines no different from drive or any of the other wankers, but thought they could get street cred buy calling it Top gear and commenting on Australian indusry lol.

My brother had the same problem , our mechanic replaced the instrument cluster and all good. Most likely faulty instrument cluster. This is relevant to the speedo/check lights. But not the stalling.

I think std is 19mm and xr6 turbo is 26mm, I got mine off ebay over a year ago as the original leaked through the end tank seams. Hope this helps.

I am also with AAMI and my insurance on A ba xr6 t has jumped from mid $700 to $962.00 I am rating one for life had a stack last year that wasn`t migh fault but they said I had to wear it. I am in bentleigh area also value of car has dropped to $16,550 which is ridiculous for a car with under 80,000k`s on it. amyone in bentleigh got a better deal or better value on car.

O.k so what your saying is if I receive a call and press the button on the handsfree it`s o.k , but if I was to a make a call whether using speed dial or inputing a number via mobile even though it in cradle then that would be an offence. I only ask because I had pulled over in what I thought was a safe place at the start of a 300 metre turning lane with hazards on so people could pass me( I had someone following me and they had been caught up at a previous set of lights and the road ahead of that was not safe to stop on) with plenty of room to get into the lane ahead of me as not to hamper traffic and received a ticket from an umarked for obstructing traffic, he pulled up behind me and I waived him on not knowing it was an unmarked lets just say he cracked it at me told me the situation and wrote me a tickett hen mentioned that if I was on phone even via carkit he would have written me a ticket for that. In the end I only copped a $60 ticket so I was happy but everybody could see I was miserable that night due to I have a squeaky clean driving record. Hence the previous question.

Hi guys, I have a BA xr6 turbo came out of the factory with std 17 inch wheels. I have upgraded to the FG I8 inch xr8 rims with the std tyres. My questions are as followed: Will my speedo show a higher or lower reading. Will changes need to be done to my camber, as these cars also came out ith 18`s will I need to get a camber kit. Any recommendations for a wheel alignment close to Bentleigh/Moorabbon area ? looking for reasonable price and also someone who won`t scratch my rims. There are 4 wheel and 2 wheel wheel alignments which will I need? IS THERE ANYTHING I haven't asked?

Yep I agree the Bosch are the best, the blades though can be replaced just like any other arm. the difference is these are one piece so they are ultra quiet and there is no slack as the arm is forced to mould to the windscreen.

Mate if you replaced the unit with the whole Bosch wiper arm/blade its not the blade/arms that are the problem I have these units on my car and they are the best thing I ever did, in fact would recommend them to anybody that is sick of noisy wipers as these are a solid construction and clean the windscreen without the ford clunk. they were recommended to me by a Lexus driver who I new was very fussy. Being greek try metho it fixes everything, otherwise I would be lookind to see if the arm itself is bent or there is a problem with the motor or as dags said the windscreen.
