  2. yeah I know haha you bought my cousins bonnet hey? car looks good
  3. haha ill ask him if he got any good vids and let you know...
  4. me and me cousin/ house mate share same computer. I got a grey ba futura he got a orange ba xrt.
  5. yeah that's me!
  6. dunno if its fixed or not yet but if its not then its not tps related that throws a code... get ford to run power balance that will tell u what cylinders are misfiring....or you can use an infrared laser heat gun to determine which runners on your manifold are hotter or colder to determine misfires... and if its 1 for example change coil 1 and 2 if it doesnt move then change plug 1 and 2 if it then still dont work who knows hahaha...
  7. has been around since the dawn of time... idle is too low... interior is too sh*t.... I work at ford get cars in all the time... theres no way of adjusting idle without a flash tune.... reflash is what I get told to do on them all the time by the manager but it does sh*t all....
  8. bluepower are who I use. they do a fantastic job
  9. hey guys just a quick one..... is 3.7's too high for a ba turbo running 4sp auto? what do all the quick cars run? mine is a ba futura with turbo conversion and im needing a diff as my m78 isnt gonna be up to the task much longer..... so what ratio would you put in? aiming for 11/10s eventually with built trans and alot more boost etc etc... 3.7? 3.45? 4.11? I can get 3.7 and 3.45 cheap and can install myself and all that just not sure what ratio will be ideal for the drags. streetability doesnt matter as ive driven 4.11's 3.27s and most in between and dont mind any ratio over the other...
  10. falcon rims afaik are rated to around 690kg a corner... territory are like 750 or so....
  11. my housemates car was bought new at courtney patterson and the previous owner who bought it new took it back a few times about the rear diff bush and they told him at first it was standard even all au irs had it as it was the same bush and then when it was a more common problem wouldnt do sh*t all cos it had a bigger cooler and exhaust.... personally drive the extra 25-30mins and go to etheridge in ringwood... shouldnt have any problems....
  12. yeah etheridge do them without caring about mods mate of mine got his f6 done with 500hp.... however they didnt do up his hand brake when they put it back together...... simple to fix but how they didnt notice that on the road test or when parking it up is beyond me....
  13. yeah I understand what you are saying but gotta remember not all ford techs like fords... not many ford techs love fords.... even less drive ba's and are enthusiasts in that model car etc... of the 15 or so techs at my dealership 5 drive fords... the rest all hate fords and its just a job to them.... I work for ford cos I f*ckin love em.
  14. nothing is unbreakable.... also those "holes"in the bushes are there for a reason... they are called voided bushes.... they have the rubber where its needed to support what its holding in certain spots but sections where it isnt load bearing are empty to reduce vibration transfer to the vehicle..... in other words if they were all solid the car would be very harsh ride and noisy and vibrate alot more than normal.
  15. the job isnt really that pricey to get done(ford dealers excluded lol)... as long as its just the 3 diff bushes and no other bushes need replacing should only take the average mechanic 3 or so hours to complete the job... first time I did it as a first year took me all of 5 hours to do all 3 bushes.....
  16. you do raise a semi valid point but as I said, if you havent experienced it how can you comment? ba's with compresses springs arent nearly as dangerous as a eb with cut springs......... the thing rides like normal its only massive bumps where it becomes slightly hairy... bumps where it would be unsafe hitting at speed even with stock springs.... I never said it handled good with those springs I said I also had a set of springs and shocks etc for handling.... I do admit that it would have less grip than stock.. however the places I drive with them in (to from work, cruising on built up areas) it doesnt affect much at all as they are all good roads... if I know im going through the country ill change to the higher springs.... it takes 50mins to change front and rear springs now ive done it that many times (even on jack n stands...)
  17. lol daniel you came into bpr when chris was tuning my turbo xt lol... and yeh pm sent toxic beast.
  18. the op has a t56. I was just making sure he used the right amount of oil
  19. its a 28mm and fg is 8mm allen key might be 10 I forget now lol
  20. can you pm me what dealer you are going to? also what area you are in as im a ford tech and might be able to point you in the right direction where to go
  21. exactly... people are so quick to judge without ever experiencing it themselves... beleive me I know all about b series falcons...I'm a ford technitian and ive owned many falcons in my time nearly all have been lowered to some level..... eb using king spring super lows and monroe GT's (brand new) all round was bouncier than my ba at that height... the ass end of the eb would bounce and jitter.... even worse with ultras /chopped springs where the back tends to flutter up and down over bumps..... with my ba it doesnt flutter or jitter over bumps... the only thing that it is bad for is speed bumps, drive ways, and where the road has sharp edges where 1 side of the road is lower than the other side with a sharp ridge sometimes at 80+ the car will scrape the trans mount. tyres arent much of an issue for me as I can fit them up myself and get them for next to nothing.... They arent the only springs I own either... ive got a brilliant setup for handling too... but it looks gay. id never take my car on the track with the compressed springs and stock shockers.... for that I use my king lows with the higher spring rate with bilstein shocks front and rear which are matched to the rate of the springs.... along with adjustable whiteline swaybars this gives the car alot more grip and much better turn in feel etc etc. the problem is the car just looks gay sitting so high...... also have a kmac ratchet camber kit which is set right for the low height springs (for max grip when using them)...
  22. try a parameter reset on the pcm? also ive heard vcm suite just doesnt work on some cars..... (quoted by chris and theo at bluepower) didnt work on mine (early xr6t 4sp pcm in a ba futura turbo)
  23. the sticker is next to the note saying dont use the fill plug to fill it... because the t56 was designed to be in a car where the box is tilted slightly... in falcons they are level so you fill them from the sensor plug on the side....
  24. springs like these arent for the faint hearted..... but theres no way king or any other brand would make them at the height both the op and myself want.... also it does handles like sh*t. not as bumpy as you think just cant turn full lock unless its dead flat road... they also get a vibration transferred through the ass end at that height. if you want to look like everyone else get SSL.... if you want the car to look sick and stand out... get them compresssed..... ive had mine like that for 6months + and its now turbo with dose pipe etc and still am yet to get pulled over......
  25. its not that citric acid thing is it? where they do 2 massive power skids? it cant be a phoon cos its citric acid!
