  1. Any pics of the underside of your setup forthcomming ?
  2. Well after picking up my F6 and having a too many ridiculous moments in the wet (2nd and 3rd - trying to accellerate and just getting wheel spin), I ended up with a set of Goodyear F1 Asymetrics, landed in Australia from Tyrerack was 1,245 aussie for 235x35x19's add another $150 for fitting, balancing and wheel alignment total cost was $1400. Less the $1000 I sold the Dunlops for - change over price was $100 buck a corner. So far so good - will post back after a couple of 1000kms. Cheers James
  3. New F6 in the garage :-)

  4. Over the last 21,000 km I've had a total average of 12.44l/100 - 90% city, 10% highway. There are three drivers, my son the "P" plater who averages around 13-14l/100 driving around in 3rd gear all the time :-( , my wife who averages around 11-12 and me, I can get it down to 9.07 on a highway run. I find that type of fuel used can vary consumption considerably - E10 runs very poorly in my car, whist premium 98 can use up to 3 liters per 100km less than 95. I have had a new o2 sensor and proper dyno tune as well, and am very happy the way the car runs. Cheers James
  5. Hi, a tune will definitely help maximise the potential of your vehical. Talk to your tunner about what your trying to acheive. I have a similar setup, BA-NA, headers, exhaust, high flow cat, cai, K&N airfilter and underdrive. Went from 167rwkw untunned to 188.7rwkw after the tune. Improved driveablity, fuel economy (unless I give it a boot full), and made it just a little bit more plesant to drive all round (I love it actually). As my son is learning to drive and for insurance reasons cant drive our other cars he will be driving this car on his "P's", that's why we purchased an NA. Hope that reply was usefull. Cheers James.
  6. Thanks - this may sound stupid but I thought all the bolts on the Fords were now metric ? Having said that I keep reaching for 13mm / 15mm sockets !!!
  7. Hi, Have tried to find a socket to fit the filler plug on a BA MKII rear diff plug but keep having trouble getting something to fit. Looking at the plug there is only about 2mm clearance between the side of the nut and the diff. Is this a special part ? Can someone also confirm this is a 29mm plug. Thanks James.
  8. Hi, I had a rough idle and the odd death whilst driving for no reason. Some things to try are fuel filter replacement, and also look at replacing the o2 sensor with something a little more sophisticated eg: a Hella unit. Worth taking to a performance tunner who knows fords - get an edit while your there and dont look back. Cheers James.
  9. Hi Romanoo, Have the 4490's installed. Two weeks after the tune and very happy - definitely has some additonal pickup :-) Getting traction to the rear wheels seems a problem now. Have to be careful at the lights not to dial in to much loud pedal. - damm I wonder how those turbo's manage to maintain any grip at all ! JPY
  10. Mines getting around 12.3 liters / 100 around town and around 8 on the hway. Cheers James.
  11. Hi, thought I would post my details as follows: BA XR6 NA CAI Pacer Headers Hi flow cat & 2.5" exhaust Powerdrive underdrive pulley ECU edit (Bob Romano Performance Motors Brisbane) 188.7 rwKW''s (4th gear manual) I thought that's a fair effort for an NA - drives and sounds very smooth. Cheers James
  12. Did you say stock - what about that mountain of upgrade parts you've already ordered - before you've even got the ute ! Craig...... JY
  13. Hi, I can recomend the Hella TPMS - great system, dosent rely on stupid looking nobs on the end of your valve stems which are easily nicked. Hard to get in Aus, but if you know someone traveling to the US, you can get them from about $300 aud. http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/detail...ATPMS&ID=51 Great units - reliable and neat, and a great safety feature. After fitting to one to my Toyota, I'm now thinking about getting two more and fitting these to my XR6 and STI. Cheers James
  14. Hi If na's are allowed to have a run with all you windbags put me down. Cheers James
  15. OK so if this group buy is no longer avalaible from XR, can anyone recommend which underdrive pulley brands are prefered and what sort of $ they are ? Thanks James XR6 NA - needs all the help it can get.
