Lets try and keep this as technical as we can. Remember that neither myself or the CAPA guys are on here 24 hours a day, so be patient with our answers. We will however do our best.

    Thanks guys
  3. Fell asleep or not Cro......you beat it
  4. Sorry Wog, tripped over that Italian mini size sausage of yours again.........
  5. Im not sure what you mean, that's why I was asking.
  6. We utilise the XR6T turbo map sensor in this application (which reads around 2.2bar absolute) and expand the tables for postive pressure mapping. We do this on both the six and eight cylinder N/A cars when a turbo or supercharger is added
  7. Macka, calibrating a stock for larger injectors is a job for a custom tune. It is not something that is offered in the 'off the shelf' product, however it is something that I have done for a number of my customers, as have most of the other Edit tuners. Speak to a local tuner in your area to determine what boost/power levels you require for this type of tune. Its more of a custom programming question than a pure software technical question. There are many good edit tuners on here now that can help you with this type of query.
  8. Glad to see you like it! Heard good reports about John.
  9. JBs boost is near perfect now thanks Dynowog! Hows Mackas cold start/warm start going? Does it run without flattening the battery crank it for 20mins to start now? Back on topic My comment was one primarily of interest. I personally know of around 15 different designs of bar/plate core, and around 10 - 12 tube/fin core. Some bar/plate cores are less cooling efficient than highly turbulated tube/fin cores, and vice versa. I wondered how you drew the conclusion. That is all. Now back in your box like a good Wog.
  10. Interesting thoughts there DW......
  11. that's the spirit!
  12. Sad when you can only win the away games, and get hosed at home
  13. Keep asking these sorts of tech questions and I will happily answer them for you.
  14. If the injector scalars are set right using the CAPA Flasher then the trip computer function is perfect. Remember tricking the trip computer is like fitting a piggyback...just wrong. Instead we correct the signal the PCM sends the trip computer, and all is fine.
  15. Take a good close look at the time cards XR6_ED, the top five fastest South Aussie BA Falcons all run CAPA Edit. Results are results, and the track tells the whole story. Oh, ah, I forgot, the fastest XR6T in the country also runs the CAPA Edit.
  16. The good news is that the CAPA Edit is now available through several APS dealers as well now. Have a good talk to the dealer in your area and book in if this sort of thing is your cup of tea.
  17. Well the long standing mph record has just come crashing down. The bar has been lifted a long, long way. Im going to get brave here and openly state that with some new software updates due for that car this upcoming week that a 10.6 - 10.8 on the same STREET TYRES in full STREET TRIM (not half a car with a sheetmetal back) will be a snack. The king is dead, long live the king.
  18. that's right, tonight Simon from Nizpro took the work ute out again after a few tweaks with the Edit, and peeled off a string of 11.1 second passes at over 130mph. The best being 130.9mph. Still on radial tyres, still on stock converter, still a daily driver with a Ford 4 speed auto transmission. Awesome work, and great to see a 'T' into the 130s after all this time
  19. Dont be too quick to blame the software. Its just a tool.
  20. CAPA are waiting for the paperwork from Forum Director Maybe another "2 weeks"
  21. Now Bruce, go run that goddam 11 on Saturday, and quit mucking around with those sh*tty tyres!
  22. As a sponsor of this forum Peter has the right to make any statement he wants. I would just like to know how he believes this is possible
  23. Could you explain how they do this Peter? Enlighten me further (this should be good)
  24. Interesting question...though last time I looked there was no dizzy on a BA...
