Calder 6th Feb
Now that is sensational How did you achieve such a significant improvement over your previous run on the 6th Feb? Practice makes perfect! I got the tyre pressure right and let the Auto cool for a while after two 13.2 passes and then it just launched of the line. APS

Geoff Polites Accepts A Job In Europe
Or maybe he'll be smart enough to get our BA's exported to the good ol' USA? That'd have to improve the build quality we get!

Joke Of The Day
TERRORISM ALERT READ NOW!!!!!! IMPORTANT We have just been notified by Security that there have been six suspected terrorists working out of our office. Five of the six have been apprehended. Bin Sleepin, Bin Hidin, Bin Fukinabout, Bin Lunchin, and Bin Drinkin have all been taken into custody. Security have advised us that they could find no one fitting the description of the sixth cell member, Bin Workin, at our office. Security is confident that anyone who looks like he's Bin Workin will be very easy to spot. You are obviously not a suspect at this time..

Autos In Modded "T's"
I have APS phase 2 (271rwkw) and the APS phase 2 auto upgrade and it is simply awesome, I love it! Guys you should really speak to APS or C&V as I reckon these two outfits have done a sh*t load of testing already on the XRT and know more than most specialist auto trans shops I have spoken to.

Catalytic Converters
Cats are very fragile items Geea. Not unusual for this to happen. If you were lucky it would have broken up and blown itself out the zorst and you would have a nice free flowing system!

Ute Ppl Question?
Anyone else have a bubble in the tub liner over the passenger side axle? Mine is sticking up about 30-40mm higher than the rest of the base. It almost looks as though it has warped from heat, but the exhaust is on the other side. HiHoHiHo it's off to Ford I go!

Xr6t Speed Limiter
I would reckon with the factory tyre specs having a speed rating of around 240kmh max it would be illegal for the FoMoCo or any of it's dealers to remove the speed limiter, even if you didn't have std tyres?

All Ford Day
Yes we are entrants and have a show site booked. Those times are consistent with us meeting in Geelong at 9am to get to Deakin Uni by about 9:30 to park our cars b4 the gates open to the public. Long range forecast is mid 30's so don't forget to slip, slop, slap!

Fuel Tank Too Small?
economy DOWN??? 15.7l per 100km to 11.3l per 100km is economy UP I think! And I'm a little confused???? If the pcm doesn't know it's using more fuel, why has the range figure gone to 600km+ from 480km?

18" Wheels
Chooch see my post below and you could probably sell the stock 17's with tyre and be left with only a small change over to have 19's? http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...?showtopic=8916

Yes I did run slicks, and it took some work to figure out the correct psi to run. The auto mads are great, I haven't had any trouble with flaring and it shifts much crisper.

Calder 6th Feb
Results? Well I kicked the BA V8's in the gonads! XR8's & FPV GT's and Pursuits . Wasn't the best night, rather warm, rather busy, rather windy (headwind) but I did manage a 13.08@107mph which is a best time for me, and I won a trophy!!!! for the "12.99 and over" category and get free entry to next week, so I guess I'II see some of you next week Special mention to Charliewool who "lost it" at about 150kmh in 3rd, 3/4's of the way down the track in his pursuit ute! Getting sideways action at that speed must have taken some years off your life Charlie, but great to watch

Fuel Tank Too Small?
I think the whole point that Ford make is that the tank isn't under the car, it's located forward of the rear axle and therefore much safer...... I'd get a "drop tank" though if someone offered one. Herrods?? Oh how 80's, YUK :o just get a unichip! My l/100km went from 15.7 to 11.3 after my APS kit was installed, and my range went from a best of 490km full to a current best since mods of 620km! this thing's gonna pay for itself :o
