As a fellow Roosters fan, we have to stick together and seeing the Roosters are top of the ladder for today I have created a Tipping Comp so we can track the Roosters going from Wooden Spoon to Grand Final Winners!!!. Full comp details are in the attached PDF, but here is the short version for those who couldn't be stuffed reading the whole thing: Link: www.Oztips.com (You will need to register if you haven't used Oztips before) Click on "Find a Comp" and enter the details below: Comp#: 219595 Password: Roosters Good Luck... QUICK NOTE: Tipping starts from next week to make it even. It will let you put a tip in for this Monday but please leave it blank to make it even for everyone. NRL Tipping InviteLong.pdf
  2. Has anyone booked a spot for the V8 Race Bathurst? One day only, tickets went on sale this week...
  3. Got a FREE ticket to the show last time they were out.... and I think I paid to much!!! Sounds like the show was no better this time around. They even had ads in the first one...
  4. Just check mine and they sure do Robbo Drivers side is in the same place (under the fuse panel), but the passengers one is a little different. In my old BA it was under the glovebox but in the FG it is behind the glovebox. You have to release the top catch on the glovebox so that it drops down and the connector and socket are behind it. Looks like the light would shine down through a small hole in the plastic to iluminate the footwell area. I am guessing it won't light up as much as the BA ones did on the passenger side as it only comes through a small hole in the plastic. I only had one spare bulb and I already installed it in the drivers side so I couldn't be arsed to pull it out and stick in the passengers side to check how it looks. I will get some from the servo tomorrow... I think if I remember from my BA the 3W are a bit dull and you need 5W to work well. Cheers, Aaron
  5. I think I remember there was a factory recall on the rear brake lines for the BA / BF series, not sure if it was related. I remember getting mine replaced on the old car at some stage during a service.
  6. I'd head NORTH!!! Seriously though, the Pacific is the way to go these days. Dual carriage-way for most of the trip and only a couple of painful spots left now. As mentioned, WHAT THE SPEED CAMERAS!! They seem to be every 12 feet on that road these days. Cheers, Aaron

Can you please take a pic of your dash, it may help us diagnose the problem.... Here is an example of where we all "helped" another forum user It was an extremely technical issue, but we all pitched in to help him get it sorted All the best with getting it sorted.

  9. Almost forgot, there is also some people saying that having the "Media Server" option enabled on the PS3 causes Internet dropout. I personally don't think this could really be a cause, but might be worth turning the option off and see if it stablises. The Media Server setting is under the "Network Settings" (I think). Cheers, Aaron
  10. Generally speaking you will get better performance from a wired connection over wireless, but this is more related to throughput than stability. However, if you aren't getting a good local WLAN signal then definitely toss a cable from your router to your PS3 and see if it fixes the problem. There is a good chance your issue may be with your router / modem's Intrusion Prevention (IPS) settings. I have to turn most of mine off when using Burnout Paradise, or the modem continually resets the ADSL interface trying to stop the traffic from the PS3 that it thinks is an intrusion attempt. My suspision is that some games attempt P2P style connections between gamers which is why you sometimes need to open incoming ports. Try looking in the "FIREWALL" settings of your router for IPS / IDS configuration and temporarily disable whatever is on. See how it goes for a while and see if it is stable. If it isn't, then put them all back on. Otherwise, try turning diferent options on 1 by 1 and see which one is causing the kicks. Alternatively, you may just have high latency to the server due to its location and there is not much you can do about that... unless you are planning on on becoming a Septic Tank!! Cheers.

Mine is patched up with no issues, but only got it in Sept so it was only 1 version behind from the factory. Cheers.
  12. If anyone is looking for pure quota capacity TPG have just upped their $49.95 plan to include 100GB per month quota (some is off peak only though). Check TPG ADSL2+ plans here Their contention rate (sharing between customers) can be quite high though, so you won't always get maximum download speeds... I am currently using iiNet and I get the results below with a few PC currently using the Internet.
  13. Just confirming all the previous comments, the reverse sensor is fully integrated with the ICC. As mentioned, it mutes the sound and beeps through the speakers and shows a pic of the car with coloured bars to show where obstructions are. My wifes Hyundai Sonata has an after market one that was fitted by the dealer for the original owner and it sounds like it works like yours. The stereo still plays and it just beeps faster if you get closer. I think it may have a red light on the parcel tray as well that flashes. Go back and get stuck into them.
