  2. I have had very few traffic light encounters. The ones I have had have all been mine. In the T and of course in the M5. I don't even use the "sport" setting! I do enjoy catching and passing bikes on my favourite bit of road though.

Team HgAg has run out of Breitling Aviators which are standard issue to members along with membership to St Andrews. The TAG Carrera is the current issue unit we can get some new Breitlings. ken will send it.............
  4. Just to clarify my comment:. I did not attack the the concept. I pointed out that this idea isnt suitable for road cars. Its even coming out of favour on rally cars. Its instant defect material and your engine will deteriate rapidly. Rally engines are rebuilt after each major event. Exhaust manifolds are replaced as they generally dont last more than 500KM. So my pointt is the idea in itself is OK, just not really any good for a T on the road. If someone has come up with a street legal ADR compliance antilag system let us all know! Good on you for posting anyway! Dallas
  5. Great post but not really suitable for a road car. it was developed for Rallying to ensure off bost performance in series of tight corners. This is a high maintenence idea. it would have no useful application in a road car. They are not driven like rally cars.
  6. I suppose we could whinge if we didnt get one too! Try taking in in the spirit is was given...........

    WRC rules.... Loeb or Solberg
  13. Its discussion boys remember that!
  14. Well of course everyone flat shifs on the way to work. this technique is not designed for the car nor many others. V8 supercars do it witha HOLINGER DOG box fitted. Want to flat shift then fit the right gear. Next think Motor will say is that it doesnt handle on the dirt........ They are really kidding if this is how they are testing cars. They should be driven how punters will drive them and if most punters flat shift then I can stand to be corrected. May Mal Woods like to comment?

If you have a look at the poll results most of you wont pay for a Falcon that will do a sub 13 sec time. so what do you want? Ford to build a car you wont buy? If you want to go faster than a T then get out a very fat cheque book. Otherwise quit ya bitchin as your wasitn good oxygen! And if you expect a reply to your FPV post good luck! HSV in reality make fast cars and they know it. They also cost a lot more than Ford.
  17. So gents, girls others, what can we deduce from our poll? Generally there would be only a very small market for a sub 13 sec Falcon. It would cost more than 80 k if ford decided to build it and most wouldnt buy a Ford over 80k. Why do some buy HSV for 80-100k? Is the product better is is it better marked? If we won't buy one of these sub 13 sec cars, why do whinge that Ford are not doing enough to take on HSV? What do you think?
  18. Havent you guys taken enough piss out of me? Well here's more!
  19. Good points mondie. We all want Ford to build better cars and have better performance but would we pay for it. that's the real question. Anyone who can afford 80k + for a car might want a better car than Ford currently delivers. doe you agree with that. Many posters here complain about serivce and repairs at 50k spend. Both HSV and Ford are already in Luxo car territory at 80k. Dallas
  20. Do you really want that kind of performance and would you pay to get it?
  21. Once you move into the 12-13 sec bracket its going to cost. Any of you ready to shelve out 80k+ It costs a lot at that end of the scale. most wont even stump for an APS kit. If yo really wanted that much 0-100 then iyts there for the asking. We can all whinge about Ford not delivering a 13 sec car. Would you buy one if they did and it was 80k +? I dont think so...........
  22. Skaife to Kelly: I dont know what we would do without you Todd" I suppose well find out on Monday eh! FORD FIRST ON RACE DAY

I am right here boys.......if we Ford fans cant speak nicely to each othet then I will get very cranky. Heve your bitch session over at LS1. They are the enemy not Ford supporters. Keep up the insults and your positng priveledges are gone.............. BTW the lower the RPM peak torque is deleiverd the better the car goes. Its one of the reasons the T slaughters the LS1 between 80 - 160 KPH. 0-100 times don't always reflect te overall perfomance of the car. How much time to do you spend dragging against more general driving? For those of you who havent driven or owned a T its hard for you to generalise until you drive it. Do the board a favour and go drive it then comment. Dallas
