I've suggested he buy a rural block in the Adelaide Hills(Strathalbyn,Echunga etc and sit on it for a while)Agreed action is required.Those who sit on their arse shall not be rewarded.You got to live close to your work though......... so a rural investment is a step in the right direction for the short term.

Disgrace............Really.The thing never had the 290 engine to knuckle up to the Caprice.Time was, when the Fairlane had a 351 just like a GT.Force 8......well I won't comment.Where was Ford's long wheel base Grange beater? Weak,sad and another lesson they didn't learn from history.Next logical step for me after a GT would have been a Ford "Grange" type Fairlane-but there isn't one.....................thank god for the Chrysler 300C SRT 8.

Owned all three ie XR6T,XR8 and GT.BF GT now is stock with edit and k + n filter and edit.XR8(5 speed manual)...............disappointing with edit ,headers, exhaust ,filter 225 rwkw.GT would kill it.GT has 236 rwkw (6 speed auto)and still very tight at 6300 km.XR6T had 240 rwkw.GT has better top end than turbo.Turbo had better bottom end.Over the 1/4 about the same I'd suggest.(mid/high 13?)........ok ...I'm not a drag racer but a point to point driver. XR8..........not sure why they're available really....T yes, Phoon yes, GT yes. If you can't go the GT (maybe a 2nd hand GT/Pursuit? if you have to have a V8?) then go the T.

The diff is at the wrong end of this torque/understeering bloated Camry used to be.200 kw into front wheel drive = why bother.Supercharged version will be even worse.Spend the money Toyota-put a hump in the floor and a diff in the back.
