Rim Options For Territory
That's the exact rims I wanted for our TT! Stupid heaviness foils my plans again.

Rim Options For Territory
I'm an absolute noob when it comes to rim offsets and load ratings etc and wanted to know if there were any factory rim options for my TT. I love the look of the phoon 19's but assume there's no chance they'd fit/work. I want to do something with the rims, but don't really like many of the aftermarket options.

Oh, I see. So is that TT now in a corner somewhere?

Renting Or Buying
This isn't a stab at anyone here, just a general statement about the people I work with and some of my mates. I shake my head at people complaining about how property is too dear for them to buy and it's not fair, blah blah. Stop f*cking sooking. Get out there and do something about getting where you want to be. Our generation has had it so f*cking easy and has bred a massive bunch of me-first greed mongers who expect it all on a silver platter. We live in an amazing country and are better off than 98% of the other people in the world, yet we bitch about not being able to keep up with the Jones'? If you want something, work your arse off to get it, or be happy without it. If you don't want to work hard, work smart. If you don't want to do either, be content where you're at. Don't get me wrong, in the scheme of things, I've also complained about trivial things, but a good wake-up call never hurts. We've got it good. If you want it better, work towards getting it.

How To Do It
I had that exact same thing happen to my VL Calais turbo wagon many years ago. Only difference was that my wheel had half the fins smashed off it. I still have it lying around somewhere, so if I find it, I'll post a pick.

I haven't used Safari for a while, as I prefer Firefox. I might have to update Safari to see how the newest version runs.

Renting Or Buying
House values have grown 35% PA over the last 3 years. Their values will continue to improve on the whole too. There's no such thing as overpriced here. If people are paying those prices, they ARE the prices. They may be high, but the demand is obviously there in abundance too. Wherever there is mining, prices shhot through the roof. And wages shoot through the roof in those regions even moreso. The reality of it all is that some things will always be out of reach. If it's not viable now, change something to work towards your goal. If it's just not achievable, reduce your expectations.

I must admit that the only time I've ever gone on a rampage with an AK was after getting on the piss and rooting a few hookers. The censorship will keep society safe.

I watched a fantastically exciting documentary on this exact issue, titled 'The Day After Tomorrow'. According to this documentary, we're all f*cked.

The skate at the start is the best bit. Awesome effort on such a huge vehicle. Any plans to get it into the 10s?

Renting Or Buying
Dags, I think you're kinda missing the bigger picture. But at the same time, it's entirely up to how you want to live your life. If you plan on being around for the long haul, buying a house is, WITHOUT A DOUBT the thing you want to do. Short-term sacrifice for a lifetime of reward. If you think you'll be dead soon, rent it up, baby! Prices are settling down, but do some research on property values and you'll see a long, gradual incline. If you buy a house tomorrow for $589k you'll have to pay the bastard off, but it'll be yours for life. Just don't over-extend yourself and leave a buffer for comfort / rate rises. Forget that it was $400k a year ago, as it's never going to be that price again. In 12 months, it might be $650 and you'll be kicking yourself again. It might be $550, but if you're there for the long haul, it means jack. As an example, we paid $460k for our home 3 years ago and everyone said we were mad for paying $40k above the odds. Truth be known, we did pay too much for it, but we wanted it and were happy to pay a premium to secure it prior to auction. 3 years later and we're being praised for picking up a bargain in a great location. It's impossible to forecast perfectly, so if you're up for it, just jump in mate. Find something you'll be happy with for 10 years and get into it, I reckon.

Territory Quarter Mile Times
I'd be very interested to see what people have done over the quarter, as well as what mods and power there were running to achieve their times. I'm planning to get to calder at some stage, but I'm not sure when I can shake a Friday night free from regular social duties.

I thought the same thing.

250awkw = Roughly How Many Fwkw?
You may be right, as I doubt the bung removal would push it from 155 to 194 in stock form. I guess a track time will tell all, so I'll post up what it does down the quarter. That'll give us something firm to compare against. Either way, I'm stoked with the results, as it drives beautifully.

My 6turbo With 20's And 22's
Looks fantastic, mate! Sweet rims - I'd love them on my silver TT. On a side note, I've always hated the black bonnet look, but I really, really like it on yours. Just suits the look of the car - especially with the addition of the rims. sweet looking ride mate.

250awkw = Roughly How Many Fwkw?
Hmm. I thought it would go the other way. Ie. losing more power through a RWD than an AWD. That muddies up the water a little bit more. Surely the stock injectors wouldn't sustain 400+ fwkw?

Illuminating Door Step
Yeah, I think he is, but Dag's is right. In order to get all the biz beneath the plate to make it light up, you'd have to drill away at the sill beneath the plastic bit. Don't get too carried away, or your car will split in half.

Renting Or Buying
Buying is always a better long-term option. Renting is cheaper in the short term. If you can afford to buy, get on deck and buy, as it'll repay you tenfold down the track. If you do your homework, you can make some decent capital gains by buying something in an area on the improve, or something you can somehow add value to (ie. subdivide, add a bedroom, garrage/carport etc). Oddly enough, my mate was on A Current Affair last night for his property pursuits. *beep* didn't get me involved, which is sad for me.
