no way in hell these cars will appreciate in value in the coming years. Have a look back at recent memory with the special HSV that come with milestone kw numbers. Already mentioned the 1996 215kw GTS-R going for over $100k when new, now worth as much as a used 5 year old taxi. Then you have the 2002 300kw GTS coupe for $100k going for about $35k these days. The problem with Expensive Daewoo as opposed to ford is they bring out a more power car every year devaluing the previous year cars very quickly... I'd take a bet that the 427 engine will be standard form within 2 years

I watch Top gear to be entertained and have a laugh, I watch fifth gear if I actually want info on a car. Both are good in the own right but so differnt. It sh#ts all over watching the car show on ch9 with Gelnn Ridge. As for an Australian TG, it will be sh#t, I'll still watch it as I love TG but it will be sh#t. All Aussie car show presenters just cream there pants when test driving the cars, so pretty much any Ferrari or lambo they will just love and rate very good, Jeremy on the other hand will flog the sh*t out of it on a test track doing massive burnouts then tell you what he really thinks of a car, good bad or otherwise

my biggest laugh and the stupidest thing to do is the good old drive into a puddle of water near a gutter to spalsh unsuspecting pedestrians. Always cracks me up when I do it and the bigger the splash the better. And ofcourse if its done to a female in white or a metrosexual guy all dolled up you get bonus points..... Its stupid to do cause you never know how big of a pothole you are driving into, so this is best done in the work ute

there was an ex-chaser on website was selling at auction/selling price of $18500, was a 2006 BF auto with ~60k's on it... now that was cheap. They have them all the time, so I'd say the OP with the car from Liverpool got it from there and is now trying to make a quick profit

slightly OT but I have an issue with my car in the boost comes on slow and only able to get 5psi on a generic 10psi tune. I have already tried cleaning the solenoid, but this thread got me thinking it may be rooted and go and buy a new solenoid. Is ford the only place to buy and how much would it be?

yeah, almost had a 5 car pile up, there was 2 car in left lane and 2 cars on right lane, I was at the back changing lanes when all of you guys decided to brake hard and move left or right. I almost came up the middle and smashed you all lol

spotted a bionic blue typhoon on side of the road on the M4 on the entrance from Westmead today at about 1.30pm. Did some rubber necking and saw some boys in blue in the unmarked car with a radar gun pointed out the window. Then further up the motorway 2 different people busted by motorbike coppers. Lucky I was day dreaming and wasnt speeding. Never seen the coppers with a Typhoon before.

the scariest thing is that he has over 19k in feedback over 5 years and if you check his feedback he sells about 10 of these things a day omg lol rofl whats that line about a sucker born every minute.......

thanks for the info headsex, so basically tell my tuner to check if my wastegate is functioning properly as it could be either jamming open and/or wont shut properly? Seeing as he is going to be taking off the assembly, should I just change the actuator to a 8lb or 10lb just for the sake of it as it would be cheaper than doing it all again at a later date

well I installed the typhoon CAI and did the boost solenoid maintence thing last weekend. Could it be I farked up the solenoid by sparying too much wd40 in it? Pretty sure everything was tighten, even re-tightened alot of the pipes I didnt affect as I was waiting 30mins after spraying the solenoid so had time to kill. But may as well go have a look, couldnt hurt I suppose

Well I got a CAPA flash tuner the other day, while I was at the shop I got my car on the dyno to see the results. Stock I got 195rwkw and with the 10psi tune I got 205.2rwkw. Obviously not what I was expecting. On the stock run the tuner mentioned the boost was coming on slow and late. After we changed to the 10psi tune it was still doing the same thing. Boost never got over 5psi. Now never owning a T before I thought that was how they performed and never realised my car was under performing. heck I still got 195rwkw. So the question is , is this a problem with the stock actuator, the fact the boost comes on slow and Im not able to get above 5psi even on a 10psi generic tune? Does the dyno readout indicate this? Now let me just clarify that the tuner is well respected and I do feel they know there stuff and that I dont have any reason to doubt their word, but I do like to get second opinions before I go a fork out over $500 to replace the stock actuator. If I do get another actuator, can I just get it and get my local mechanic mate to install it? Would it need to get a retune even though its a generic tune? And also what do I get 8 , 10 or 12lb. I dont ever plan on getting more that 300rwkw and if I do it wont be for a long while. heres the print out
