Also had the reflash done today (45K service) & noticed straight away improved idle quality, as for fixing overboost issues time will tell.

As I have said before what is so inconceviable is the fact that these players Ford, FPV & AP have years of R&D at their disposal & still we get the situation we are in now. Once again Ford/FPV could have acted more swiftly than they have but once again have dropped the ball. And before anybody decides bag me for my above comments let me just say when Ford do something positive I will be the first to put my hand up! Just my 2c.

Maybe the boys (or is that girls?) at Campbellfield both HQ & FPV should take notice of what true customer service is all about!

One fix that I have heard of for this is by simply putting an extra earth cable/lead direct from the battery to the the engine. I know this has worked for at least one member on this forum who had stalling issues! Maybe it could work for others as well?

In actual fact unless I am mistaken the Ford employees have the best discount available to them which for these pedals are $154incl. Unless of course if you happen to work for FPV & help yourself!

And just to think that it's probably only a 4.6 not a 5.4 litre! Imagine all that gear on a BA GT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't hold your breath! The engine builder/s know how to build engines its just the equipment that they are given that is the problem! (Read inferior parts, that plus Prodrive sticking their nose in & trying to reinvent the wheel!) Unfortunately those that work at Ford know all too well how they don't/won't spend money in the right places or listen to common sense &/or logic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also believe while David Flint is still there, things will not improve. My 2c.

Hallelujah! About bloody time Ford finally bit the bullet & actually addressed the REAL problem!

1. Yes, the calipers are different because the rotors are thicker, not sure if piston sizes are same or different but I believe they are the same. 2. Yes, yes & yes, the Premium rotors measure 325mm x 32mm as compared to 298mmx 28mm for the std.. 3. Not 100% sure if perf. pads are available but I believe they are. 4. You be the judge & compare aftermarket prices, One last thing to consider the rear rotors/calipers are exactly the same except for the elliptic grooves in the disc & the caliper being painted! Hope this helps.

I can't believe this has happened, for what ever reason! How come they could put a clutch in a Phase III & it hold together, then 30+ years later with all these supposed engineers & resources at their (FPV's) disposal this ridiculous situation arises??? As I have stated in a previous post, if a AFL/NRL team under performs continuely, they generally sack the coach! Why David Flint has still got a job has got me completely flummoxed. Whilst this bozo is still in charge FPV/FPR will continue to flounder! Once again Ford had/has an opportunity to try & save some face but has dropped the ball AGAIN!
