Ah sh*t,the 6spds dont seem to like cracking 300rwkw either. Whats it doing wrong? No drive?

I thought it was 7g without trans brake setup and close to 10g with, xr6t_ute?? I just copied and pasted that link and it worked Henry. 4spd is good for a daily imo. Apparantely with those ones,going into 4th at wot,isnt a no no like the btr aswell. If I decide to chase more power,that will be the box that replaces my 4spd if/when it dies. If its round 7gs that is... anymore than that and I will rethink haha. How long will the strong clutch last?? 2spd is good/strong aswell but not sure what they are like if you use the ute everyday or tow etc..

3rd gear is the weak spot and the tune can help with prolonging the life of the box. Regular services make a big difference too. Mine was built by Yarra Valley autos aswell and has been pretty good for almost 3yrs with 318rwkw. I dont thrash the sh*t out of the thing everyday though,so if you do,it wont help either. 40,000km out of a box that's been thrashed on a regular basis is probably pretty good.

I have noticed the Nizpro FG fibreglass box has thick foam stuck around it on the inside. I take it this would be for noise? I reckon the steel intercooler pipes cause noise aswell,not just the filter.

From memory it cost $3300 for auto build,custom servo,strengthened drive plate,2500rpm stall convertor and a trans cooler setup. Bayswater are supposed to be very good aswell going off others experiences.

mmm,not sure if its worth the risk of getting pulled over just for being out lol.. They can always find something to pick on,even if doing nothing wrong. See what happens I guess.

Not running slicks gives you a reason to go back for a better time,but if you can snag some slicks,better off going once and giving it all its got. Either way its bloody fun.. Good times on street tyres Tony,gotta be happy with that.

First thing to do is obviously find where the leak is coming from. The fluid might have been low due to the leak,which would of caused your slipping/flaring shifts.Now the leak has obviously got worse. If its been running low on fluid and has been slipping for a while,the fluid probably wont be pinky colour anymore?? If its leaking from your front pump seal and your planning on modifying the car,start by rebuilding and strengthening your trans,especially if the trans has been faulting for a while. When you find out where the leak is coming from,you will be able to make a better descision.

Dont forget a trans cooler aswell..And maybe a strengthened driveplate whilst your there too.
