  4. BA F6 , 479rwkw on E85, GT3582, factory compressor and turbine housing, ported wastegate and larger flapper @ 18psi boost. XFT hub dyno. that's massive boost for only 425. In SA maybe go to Jet (@jeturbo) for tuning . something is definitely wrong.
  5. Use a fully synthetic auto trans fluid. I use gulf western SYN TS-10. you need 4.5 L

  7. 15 1/2 years of tuning at XFT = 2 fractured balancers , I lossened flywheel (possibly nizpro) and a set of coils that's over 3 cars. Hey something must be done correct. Blow ups are a combination of poor parts and poor tuning
  8. I give it third time , blown up BA BF(1), blown up territory, No1 (2) and how long for blown up territory No2 (3). I give it till the end of july. Home tuning with little knowledge is VERY dangerous. Poor man pays twice. three times , 10 times, They never really, never really learn
  9. You dont need to change the turbo. You are making good power at 20psi. The graph just reflects you gearbox and torque convertor
  10. If its the factory turbo and not the baby FG one, it wont be the turbo holding it back. Shows a nice 20psi constant. It will be the 2 speed box and converter affecting the torque.
  11. 18psi is plenty for factory turbo and motor. At 480 turbo is out of puff
  12. Some of us have more than one car. But yes, the BF F6 probably makes 11 in the mid. My BA F6 makes 18 psi by 2750rpm Does that graph looks like it comes on SOFT.....

  14. How long they last is all in tune. Just ask puffwagon. I have been running 407rwkw for over 7 years and 480 for 3. I have zero problems except a set of coils
  15. Good thoughts on the fire risk. I dont understand. It looks like your your house is made from 10mm chipboard/plywood. The whole idea of double brick is so the inner wall isnt contacted by the sun. Additionally that's what eaves are for. But timber (pine ) must be cheap. Maybe a double brick house is to expensive.

  19. Earlier than 2800. No big turbo will give that.. Who do you thing designed the BLOCK. 4 bolt mains. This is on another level. No other tuner in AUS is near this., except the de-stroked block.
  20. All true, I just dont think the factory turbo needs to be upgraded unless you want more than 400 on 98 or 500 on E85. Both my cars are manual..

  22. that's the BF. My BA makes 410 on 98. 18.5 PSI. with STD mods. OP wants 400. He doesnt need to change the turbo. Just have a good port job and large flapper. I have 2 cars BF and BA . 15 psi is for BF. BA has all STD mods. No head work. But has FG cams..
  23. Both my cars run factory compressor housings. Of course R & D makes extra power. . What do you mean by engine set up... Do you think you make 400 with 15Psi with a factory head.....
  24. This is true. Besides Nizpro, my tuner has the most R& D in AUS. And I didnt say the turbo wasn't un - modified, just that it is factory. With stock compressor and turbine wheels. Keith, your car doesnt even run. You just cant see outside the box. Its not all what you see on forums. Go talk to some high end tuners and you will understand the differences.
