Rule 4(a) If any damage is done to vehicle during foot race, damager must sit in b*#ch seat so they are in direct view of driver via rear vision mirror.

Tell us about the brakes and model of the car mate; BA(II)/BF(II)/FG, standard/premium/aftermarket? Any brake shop will be able to skim the rotors with the same result, depending on age and wear.
  6. Lots of options out there for intercoolers bigmick, size up the options before jumping in PM Chris @ rapidsystems for options, as demonstrated here he obviously knows his stuff!
  7. Hopefully Nizpro or one of the other tuners will enter next year and rattle a few cages
  8. Yes, stop driving like a little girl in first gear. But thrash in moderation, we don't want to have you back here in a month asking about rebuilds.

RE: washers, check the nozzles for rust/blockages and maybe add some detergent or similar to clean out the lines. Mine stopped after not using them for a while over summer and I just kept trying and it started coming through, maybe that'll work. RE: A/C, stupid question, but are the vents open? Have you tried switching between the windscreen demister thing and like foot/face positions? Can't see why/how they would just stop working. Unless it's like an installed A/C in a house with separate motors?
  10. Porchse Museum in Stuttgart I wanna see a current photo of the soon to be world's fastest roller coaster @ The Nurburgring in Germany. (and I'm still waiting for my sub woofer...)

Possibly a stuffed/unplugged BOV too. Spend a few minutes going over all the hoses that are under pressure and go from there.
  12. Congrats on the purchase and welcome. Please post some pics when you get it, sounds like it'll make a few of us pants-happy. Dan
  13. Christ, and mine was too on the nose to be kept!? I wanna see the biggest sub woofer in a car.

perfect way to get the message across!
  21. So, just got the latest MOTOR mag in the post today (as I'm sure a few of us did), and for the first time in a long time I'm bloody disappointed! Many-a-time the aussie car mags have left the XR6 Turbo out of relative comparisons, but this one just takes the cake. "Extreme Tuners Modified Shootout" 'Drag+Dyno+Track' This article, labeled with the tagline 'Local tuning houses step up as we thrash the best modified cars in Oz', features such heavyweights as the GT-R, GT2 and 991 Turbo all tuned by local tuners and pitted against each other at WSID. What really gets me is the fact that the magazine quotes 'best modified cars in Oz', and not one mention of the XR6T (let alone F6). There is however TWO SS-V sedans, AND an SS-V ute from different 'tuning houses' (in italics for latter mentioned point)! Before anyone jumps on and says that the ford turbo does get a run, it's the friggin G6ET!! (All due respect to G owners, I envy you, but we all know that it ain't the prized performance filly from the Ford stables). The tuning house picked to represent the ford family was, of course *drumroll* Herrod Why, oh why MOTOR did you not include the T, or the F6? And involve any of the real 'tuning houses' in Australia!! Herrod... who? Best modified cars in Oz... say f*ckin what? Wtf have you been smokin? (and more importantly, puff, puff pass mu-fu!) My car has an off-the-shelf-tune from C&V Performance, a real Aussie tuning house, and no mention of them. So many 'real tuning houses' are out there, but they get no mention! You include Whiteline, who isn't a tuner at all, but a manufacturer that makes handling improvement components. The only 'tuning' that company did to the featured cars was adding their own handling products, and out-sourcing the 'tuning' to another company!! What about XFT for the turbo fords? What about Gemballa for the Porsches? What about Xspeed for the jap imports? MOTOR, if you want to do an article on Aus's best modified cars and their tuning houses, then by all means do it, but do it properly FFS! End Rant... for now...
  22. G'day all, got some cracking photos from my trip that I wanna get printed out to put on the walls. a) Is there any members out there in the printing game that are capable of printing pictures up to 700 x 1600mm?, or b) any recommendations as to who can do it relatively cheaply? Fanks all, Dan
