  1. Ay??? Dont you own an XR6 Turbo....... Cmon mate, dont be shy!!! Let it rip, give us ALL the specs!!! Im certainly interested. More pics to please!
  2. Where abouts in QLD are ya?
  3. Your car has one as standard fitment. Unless you like the noise, just leave it as is.
  4. Ive still gotta slip my smaller trolley jack under the side of the car under the chassis rail just to raise it a bit then my big jack will get under the front bar. The car is hangin in the air within 3 pumps!!! Its also perfect for my mini as well which is lower then my ute by a long shot.
  5. I got this Omega jack through Rapeco. I think it was about $370ish. Its min working height is 63mm.
  6. Are those in tank pumps supplied with a check valve? Or do they retain the stock one? When I fitted my Bosch 044 I also bought a speedflow check valve to hold the pressure in the line.
  7. I hope that included a custom tune not just generics otherwise he got ripped off!!!!
  8. Regardless of vehicle type, cars are always more expensive up here. Always has been always will be I think. that's why I had to look elsewhere when I bought this. Its not set in concrete that im selling it, I still enjoy it. But I am a constant tinkerer, I would like another project and if I had to choose between selling the Mini or the Ute, the ute would have to go. Im not sure what else to do on the ute. I guess I could upgrade the brakes and stereo?? I just thought some old tank of a V8 might be fun to fiddle around with.....?
  9. A young fella up here recently sold his 2005 Yellow NA ute for $26,500... It had mags on it...
  10. I realise BA's are going for 2 bucks these days, but whats most peoples opinions on what I could realistically ask for my Ute? Car prices up this way are a little higher then Syd/Melb and what not. I also understand modded vehicles can sometimes fetch lower prices, but I do feel mine hasnt been modded to over the top. Considering getting into some old school muscle so just putting the feelers out at the momment. Hopefully I could ask more then 2 bucks for it.......? 2003 BA XR6T Citric Acid 4spd Auto 63,000klm AWC Typhoon front bar Steel XR8 bonnet Monza Cooler RAPID Hot/Cold piping Process West UBP K&N Filter Typhoon CAI Atomic valve springs 2L Surge Tank Bosch 044 pump X-Force Cat X-Force Stainless Y-Pipe PWR Trans cooler 18in Speedy Wheels Kings lowered springs all round Autometer Cobolt Boost/oil pressure 6 disc prestige sound Hayman Reece H/D Towbar Dark tint Paint/panel perfect Regularly fully serviced and well maintained Blueboost tune to 296.1rwkw.

I bought one but didnt use it, Magnaflow USA could not advise of an exact flow rate of there metal core cat. I didnt want to risk it so I bought an X-Force metal core cat. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...mp;hl=magnaflow
  12. Simple fix. Dont get the exhaust done till you have the tune organised? Easy as!!!

    Is yours manual or Auto?
  14. Hahaha! Cheers mate. I wish I could find something I liked in a 20. Then the semi-slick tyre choice gets bit limited and pricey....!
  15. Mine are only 18's though:
  16. This ol girl was a pretty good sight. Wouldnt say it was quiet though!!!! hahaha
  17. Are u a bit of an Aerosexual to? I managed to have a sus of this one in Sydney a few months back.
  18. God, dont move up north if you call that bad service.
  19. Another happy Blueboost customer!!! Well done guys!!! It'll be right if its got the phoon bottom end, which im guessing it does?
  20. Mine ran fine for almost 12mths with those plugs until I got round to getting a tune. Why not just leave it until the week prior to getting tuned if your worried? Its a pretty simple/quick job.
  21. No. Buy your self a set of NGX BKR6EIX and follow this link. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...;hl=spark+plugs You might want to consider upgrading that before you tune it.

I bought my Kenwood Head Unit here in Oz. However it was a special order as it came with a Carbon Fibre look faceplate. Id read up on its many features back in the day and it seemed like a cool idea. Cant say ive ever seen any HU's advertised with RDS as a feature though.

Ive got a Kenwood HU in the Mini that I bought back in 1997. Its got RDS. Has it taken Oz this long to catch up with the rest of the world? Ive never used the radio with that unit.
  24. Hiclone's have been around for like 12-15 years..... http://www.hicloneqld.com/
  25. I bought a X-Force 3.5in Metal core cat and a X-Force Stainless Y-Pipe for $620 incl fitting.
