  1. That looks the goods Dave!!!
  2. A friend of mine was a mechanic at Expensive Daewoo dealership. A 2 door Opel Omega came in with leg out of bed to be repaired under warranty. They were able to get in there and determine that at time of failure the engine Revs were on the limiter, engine water temp was stone cold, rear wheel speed was a hundred or so kph's. Pretty obvious to see what has happened. Not to sure if it got fixed under warranty or not.
  3. Supercheap usually have the copper and plastic lines available as a kit for oil pressure gauges. It includes the ferrule's. I think the line is the same as most boost/vac line.
  4. Will you head back down to Dave once the pump/injectors/converter are fitted?
  5. That would be sucking in a bit of hot air with that filter setup yeah?
  6. Mite of copped a stone when it was on the transporter?
  7. Is the unichip like the Xede? If so it intercepts a few sensors so removing it would cause the car not to run at all, unless the wiring from those sensors is re-joined.

Im quite happy that two of my cars sit in the shed week in week out. I dont believe you can keep a nice car in good condition by using it as a daily hack. Others will disagree, but that's my opinion.
  10. Nah I havnt fixed it yet. My weep is so so minor. The fluid level hasnt even moved. Ill get to it one day.

Ive come to a decision that I mite try and take my hand to building scale models. Its either that or sell 2 of my cars and do another full restoration on something else. I know whats cheaper! I want to finish them off with an air brush, but I have no idea what so ever as to what I need to do it? Single action or double action? Whats a good brand? Whats an average price? Ive looked on ebay but I cant tell the good stuff from the crap? Anyone have any airbrush hints or tips?

  21. Yeah you still have to crack the thing open to replace the lamp. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=43367
  22. I actually had the thought of selling tonight, to fund a full resto of 1967 Mustang.
  23. Its a term I use, like cracking open a stubby.
  24. Some say you can take the lens cover off from the front. Ive never done this. You need to push the entire fog light assy inwards. If you have the stone tray off, get your other hand in there to catch it as it falls out. You need to use a big of force. Then you can crack the lens open and replace the lamp. I think it gives a how to in you owners manual.
