Sounds good. It's my little guys birthday but what better way to spend it!!!!! On a side note, we were out yesterday when a Skyline pulled up next to us @ the lights (albany Hway) young chap with his g/friend, we had both the kids. He revved it and she gave Mark the bird, I could see Marks brain ticking over and reminded him that the kids were in the car and not to be stupid, let the P plater have his fun. Another pump of the gas by the Skyline and..........O your 4 year old girl says ......."Just do it Dad!" needless to say he did, and she thinks that Dad is a legend!! The little one waved as we went past. There is no hope for my family!! D

Aaron Glad to hear that all is now well ( Yay Simon!) I was getting a little worried as Mark is now looking at more mods ( mind you after 1 run last nite - weather issue) I was quite keen too except for your experience. Oh well looks like its Mods away....... D

Thought that I'd update on the disappearance of my thud..thud.. after moving off. Yes we have had the mystery noise removed........ Prior to mods thud thud have done all the below in one swoop and ................. no noise. The thud is gone.... XF you need to go to Simon. Get off your lazy is this the nudge you needed????? D

Well the first round of our mods are complete. Thanks to the WA boys for some helpful info and Simon & Mike @ Xtreme Ford Tuning. We have managed to come off with a very nice 317.8rwkw. The car had 203rwkw stock and 246 with the generic 10psi tune from the capa box. After the... Plazmaman Intercooler, Nizpro Injectors, CAI, Fuel pump, Cat n Dump, we also put in a new clutch for just in case. Mark (husband) has a very nice smile that hasn't left his face!!!! and before we had left Xtreme he was talking about the 2nd round of mods being zorst and CV's. Bring on the dry weather so that we can get to the track ..... P.S. we are not hoons just dont like smug HSV ppl

Off to Simon's we go!!!!!!!!!! (A fuel pump and finish off the tune - oopps left the tank too full) Just thought that I'd share my excitment with ppl who give a rats. Scribr We would never have got T if is WASNT for the kids (4 & 10). And I think that I'm almost more of the modder than my husband. The kids both love cruises and the 4 y.o (girl) is always squealing" make it go fast again "+ " do the spinny thing" ........ Go figure. We have just booked it in for some "bits n pieces" D

Well after posting that my insurance with SGIO was such I good deal, I need to change a few things on the policy. Add a new amp and look at cost of mods on the ins. Ooppss did I say mods. Apparently they don't insure modded cars. So again the dancing begins. (slightly freaking out as I have already booked it in!!) After ringing the entire list of companies on this thread AAMI came up with $635 - we live SOR in Perth both are Rating 1 Mark 38 me 36 , BF XR6T 2006 6 sp man. I listed all the mods (amp, clutch, intercooler, fuel pump, cat & dump, injectors - the lot. Yes a bit green maybe, but they are listed and covered on the policy & its cheaper than before with SGIO) that are comming as I'm not doing this bulls*&^ again. AAMI advised that they are the same place as Just Cars, but wont do mods on cars for the youngsters, that's for JC's. Got the written quote & PDS and I read it thanx for the info D

Thanx to you all. I thought that I was going nuts. I usually rip the T out while Mark is @ work and I get the same as XF Falcon. I have tried showing it to other half who thinks I have lost it. It only appears after the car has been sitting then I reverse out of drive start moving foward and right before I try & hit next doors cat..... thud thud thud. Really wished it was the cat but no cat still lives. D

MiKa I refer to a previous post about Shannons, I called up to get a quote. I am 35, nothing to advise in the last 5 years, driving since 18. Big issue that I hadn't had a turbo/ performance car for 24months and as such wouldn't insure me. So the 19yo's, I wouldn't imagine stand a chance. - Either that our they just dont like girls??!?! Oh Yeah & they only want you to sometimes drive it, coz if you use it everyday then you aren't a car enthusiast. Thus again, reducing their possibility of having to pay out.
