I got my bar through Spoilertek in Brisbane. And as for the paint, I had it painted through a mate with the bottom of the mouth in a different color. And it was a very good job that he did on it.

That sounds like a lot. I got mine for $365, Then $120 to send to WA, $200 for paint, $55 for driving lights and I have a XR6 so the wiring was allready there for the lights.

Im looking at getting a tripod with Autometer Coblat gauges at the moment so a group buy on these would suit me great.

Hi guys, As you can see from my details I live in Perth also so Hello Perth members, I dont want to cause an argument here but have herd a lot of good things about BPT in Wangarra and have spoken to them a bit about what I want to do. They seemed to know what they are talking about and are nice enough guys. On the other hand I have herd one or two storys about Simon over tuning cars to get more power from them and then having problems with the cars later down the track. But on the other hand I read all over this site how many guys use Simon and you all seem to swear by his professional manner and great work. Simon also seems to have a lot of experience with higher HP cars. I am planning on a full process west plenum and IC kit, Process west surge tank and 044, 60LB'ers. that's what I have decided on so far. For the exhaust im thinking about getting the 4" dump and Cat from the group buy that's getting sorted at the moment. Do you think this will flow well enough for these mods? What sort of power do you think ill be looking at? Its a BF to0! I might just PM simon and talk to him about what im after and go from there. I hope to catch up with you all on a cruse around easter when im back home cos im away with work at the moment.

They are similar to the mods that im going to be doing in a few months so things are looking good for me:-) Great numbers mate and sounds like you are having a ball in it to.

Also keep in mind that if you get an orion you will have all the usual faults and bugs that come with the first series of any new model where as the BFII is a proven model base to work with.

The way I see it is you get what you pay for. My 2c worth!

Im get a dump pipe and cat. And im also keen for whileline Sway Bars to if a group buy happens with these.

There were a couple of nice utes from proUTES that missed out as well that should have been accepted. I think they need to review their entry standreds to make it fair for everyone. There will be a BA Tonner Turbo there with the proUTES crew. Its worth a look. I would have entered and would have added to the XR6T numbers but am not home for another couple of months. There's allways next year.

Does anyone know if the PBR kit in question here is the same as the brakes on the BF onwards XR's?

I did not even test drive mine before I bought it. I drove an XR8 and that sold me on getting a ford ute over a Expensive Daewoo then when I found out I could get an XR6T so cheap I almost signed the papers straight away. Then had to wait 5 days to pick it up. I had never heard a bad word about the XR6T's and it was what I wanted and I have not looked back. 12 months old and still loving it.

Looks good with the new wheels. Gives me an idea of what mine will look like with black 20's.

Hi Everyone. Im looking at a few upgrades for my BF ute over the next 4 or so months. At the moment im trying to decide which Plenum and Intercooler kit I should go with. Can you please give me some feed back on your experiences with these systems. This is a list of the mods im thinking about getting. Plenum 800HP Intercooler or equivalent 60lb injectors 044 fuel pump and surge tank Cold Air Induction Duel 2.5 or 3" exhaust with hi flow cat Malwood Option 3 clutch Boost, Oil Pres and temp gauges Is there anything that im missing? and what power do you think I should get? I will run a safe tune to protect the bottom end. Any thoughts and comments welcome. Thanks Damo

I have been told that anything wider than about 8.5" on the front is a bit of a mission so I was going to the 8.5 for the front and 9.5 on the back.

Me and a mate bought all the parts and installed 2 systems over a week when we were not working. Im not completely happy with it at the moment and want to change a couple of things so its not so plain and boring. Im still deciding what im going to do with it.

I sent the company an email to see if they would be able to custom make some 10.5 or 11" rims for the back but they said they could only do 10" wide. If nothing else comes up in the next 3 months I will be getting a set of these. I think they would suit my ute nicely.

I bought 6.5" spacer places for 5 bucks each from a stereo shop when I did my install. They saved the hassel of having to find 5x7 speakers.

This is so True. Clare and her stupid ideas! Thank god she is out of the seat now and hopefully the Territory can go back to the way that is was. It used to be really good until she got into power. If the speed limits change it will give me a good excuse to drive home next christmas instead of flying. Have to wait and see I guess.

Yeah there is a heap of info on there about this sort of stuff. Comes in handy sometimes.

Ill tell you what I know about this. I want to do the same thing because I all ready have an XBOX with a chip installed. First of all you need to install Linux on your xbox. You can do this and still be able to use your other XBOX programs and stuff. Info can be found by googleing XBOX LINUX. or PM me and ill give you a bit more info. I have not got it running yet though and still have a fair bit of work to do on it. Once you have Linux stable you will be able to download a program called LINUX ICE(IN CAR ENTERTAINMENT) from www.linuxice.com From what I have read about Linux ICE you can use it for all your in car needs. GPS NAV, OBD, Music, Movies, Web Access and a few other things. There is a fair bit of info on the MP3CAR forums about it. that's most of what I know about it. I want to have my XBOX installed by mid next year so will have all the details about it then. But if it all gets to hard ill just build a mini computer and run everything off that. I am going to look into getting these for my ute. Does anyone know what the widest rim I would be able to fin on the ute. Im hoping Ill be able to get 20X10's for the back and either 20X8.5 or 9.5 for the front. I think 8.5 will be the better option for the front though.
