  1. What about a Group Buy for Rapid Systems Plenum and Intercooler kit? I would also be keen on Swaybars, Brakes, Injectors and the Process West surge tank.
  2. I used masking tape to cover the Warning label and mirror. Then just painted them with Plastic and Vinyl Paint. Most of the parts came out really good but some of the last parts we painted I had to redo because it was about 2AM in the middle of Winter so the paint was not sticking very well. Im going to be pulling all the plastics out next year and trying to get a better finish on them. PM me if you want me to talk to through everything we did.
  3. I will be on the hunt for another hard cover in the new year. I might have to get one custom made though because I dont want it to have the locks showing on top. Ill get the LIDLOK setup so its a full smooth finish and good for Airbrushing.
  4. Some info about the Tonner. It started out as an XL work ute, Got lowered and got the wheels then got side swiped by a street sweeper. Then the Tonner idea came about and this is the result. The Tray is made out of Aluminum and tung and grove timber. And weighs about 50Kgs max. We did a full turbo conversion on it. Hybrid intercooler and piping. Custom 3" exhaust from the turbo. Then it was Custom Tuned by BPT Motorsport to 303RWHP. It has an Identical stereo setup as mine cos we did them together and saved about 6-800 bucks all up. But the tonner runs off an Alpine deck where as mine is off the ICC. And it has my old front bar and lights. He is thinking about selling it early next year for some stupid reason. Having a baby last week has a lot to do with it I think. Dagabond - What do you mean about the sunvisors?

  7. Hi Guys, Have been talking to Billet about getting a Rip Shifter for my ute. He has told me that he can do a group buy for 5 or more 5 or 6 speed shifters for $325. This is a lot cheaper than I have seen them anywhere else. Would someone be able to organize the group buy if people are keen because I am new to the forum and am not in Australia at the moment. I will be buying a shifter either way but thought I would pass the deal onto my fellow forum users. Thanks guys Damo
  8. Thanks for the info. I thought about changing just the Disks, pads and lines but also want the bigger disks to make it look tough. And I want to do a couple of track days next year. Cheers

G'Day everyone. I have been looking around on the site for a while and though I better introduce myself and say hello now that im getting a bit more active on the forum. My name is Damo, I live in Perth and drive a XR6T ute. Ill post so pics in the Ute forum for you to look at if you are interested. See you around Damo
  13. They look very good Adrian.
  14. I would be keen it the trim could be but back on.
  15. I helped a mate make a custom tray for his turbo ute. It was made out of alumium around the sides and head board and has tung and grove timber on it. As you can see from the pic it looks really nice and completly changed the look of the ute. The tray only weighs about 40-50 kilos so traction is a big problem for him.
