For melbourne (not sure if rules are different in all states) Whats the darkest legal tint? Looking to get it a bit darker I think? What tits do ppl have? My Brother got darker like 20% on rear and not so dark on sides? Any ideas??

I always get more km's when my wife drives the car. HAHA Cool a bendigo boy. Bought my car from the Ford dealer there. Brian dunn or something. They where good. They drove it down for me to look at it originally. I took the train there, they picked me up from the station. Tell me that ain't good service. Even got a good price too.

I am a guy and do change amounts to make stories sound better. :violin: Obviously on freeway hard to hit boost and still keep licence. What you get out of tank.. Hey, I know Octane rating has been discussed before but that was more for octane booster. What I'm wondering is lately I have been running the United 95% Ron ethernol Fuel in my XR6T. Runs great I get easy another 50km to the tank and it's slightly better for the big old earth. What I'm asking is ethernol fuel bad for the 6T's?? and What are fuels are ppl using that they are getting more km's from than using the standard unleaded 915 ron (if anyone would use normal petrol).ie optimax etc.??? that's half the reason why most ppl dont feel bad to take them for what they are worth. They are a corporate. The local mechanic I don't think many ppl would want much from them. If I have an edit or other mod and something breaks. They better have good proof as to how my edit or mod made it happen. Coz I'd go the whole way with them. If it's obviously the edit's or mods fault I would wear it with out issue. Only if they do the weasel thing and try and get out of it coz they are big. One thing though is both my brothers have Expensive Daewoo utes. One's a SS and the other is a maloo. Both have had multiple engine rebuilds. Gearboxes and driveline works. Most know the 5.6l has issues. One dealer would try and weasel out of it time and time again. Where finally they went to another dealer who looked it all over and said they would fix it all under warranty as it's what's warranty is for. The dealer said like it matters either way because if it the customers fault they get paid and if it's Holden's problem they get paid. Generally if it's a warranty claim they have a fixed price to work off and get paid. If it's a customer job price is dropped and argued over. I've had the same thing also multiple times with company cars. In the end with my company car I used another mechanic and only went to ford for claims. Much easier when you have paper work from a mechanic saying what the problem is. Less chance of them talking sh*t. So my advice is if your dealer sux. Try another one that is fairer or try a local mechanic that does handbook services or even claims.

LOL. Everyone on the forum will want to come to your ford dealership. How about for the BA? There has been a few ppl that have said it can in the BF but not in the BA. Wonder if that's true or not. If you tell them about the edit what wont be covered? Not that it's gonna stop me either way as I'm getting a edit ASAP.

The Hardtop is from a BF but the car is a BA mk2.

Thanks for your post. It would be interesting to find being the job your in and all if it can be found in the BA? Did it tell you any other information other than how many times it has been flashed? I still fail to see why a after market cooler would make a difference anyway. I the main reason you get more power from it is it coolers the turbo better. This has to be a good thing, surly. I spose any excuse for Ford to get out of it. An other interesting thought I have is, there still would not be enough evidence in court if he was to pursue and deny the claim that he flashed it. Who's knows what happened when it was built or what the apprentice did when he was working on it and flashing it. 3 flashes could be done by anyone and doesn't mean it was a tuner. We all know it probably was but that only a guess and can't be a legal YES. Plus does a tuner directly relay to his engine issues. So they must be saying that if he had a standard tune of around 30kw less he wouldn't have had issues. What a crock. that's why you play you pay sounds good in theory but when you have bought the car with warranty which doesn't come free. You want what is fair and reasonable not them try anything to get out of it. Any thoughts.

My car has just hit 21000. BA mk2 xr6t auto ute.. I get it bad when I use brakes lightly. It also pulls to right a bit too. Going to take it in to Ford, so they can do the normal, it your fault and this is the bill. Anyone have any ideas of what it could be?

Can someone clear up what is required if I was to swap over to the colour screen icc. Standard controls no dual climate control. Surly it would just plug in and need programming from ford? Also the ICC with colour screen has Video and audio rca input yer?
