okay iv got the 5 speed manual ba xr6t

got 2.5inch exhaust, CAI, upgraded intercooler

getting a tune, will this be putting any strain on the trans??

dont want to spend 1100 on a tune then have to pay that again cause the cluth is blown lol

2.5inch exhaust? Won't make much power with that lol. The cluch should be fine but I guess it's how u drive it mate.

Asi undertand it the 5 speed has a tendancy to f*ck up as it is quite a weak box, however as foyle said its about how you drive it, especially with clutches.

dont worry about spending the coin on a blown clutch if the input shaft ends up in your ass dude seriously the t5 should of been built out of glass.......uve seen the toyota advert right that's what ford did with it

even at stock poiwer levels these go boom u wanna mod your car get ready for everything and anything to go tits up its the way of the modded game

Most important no matter who tunes your car or what kind of dyno they have from happy to un-happy to outright Disney style is that they are up with the very latest on the tuning software. Each and every month there are no innovations and discoveries in SCT Advantage that allow the unlocking of additional kw. For example I taught an Advanced XR6T training seminar at Herrod on the weekend and between some of the smartest guys in the country we came up with some new ways of making power and torque from these engines up to 15rwkw in a fashion that would have never been seen or applied before. Make sure your tuners attended these courses to give you best value for money...that is your best advice

some of the dyno results prolly could be the operators fault/not fault due to the way each car gets ramped up wouldnt u agree martin?
