Its a tight squeeze that's for sure! I will leave the harmonic balancer and pulleys off to give me a little more space going back in for sure!

Trying to keep some sort of order tonight so thought I'd start getting the lpg engine ready with the pump gears and valve springs as well as swapping all the turbo stuff over.

Fairly productive night with the pump gears going in and cams coming out. The sump and timing case also got treated to a couple of heavy duty washes and some prep for painting.

I think shoot the block with some nice fresh black paint too.

Big day again here, nothing like a decked out shop to keep pushing forward. First up I started to do the valve springs and get them out of the way. Between the springs I was spraying the sump and timing case with some silver engine enamel.

I then masked up the head and windage tray and gave the block one last clean up and a shot of gloss black.

Swapping stuff over from the turbo engine was all pretty straight forward, like for like with a little wash if needed.

Now the only thing holding me up from fitting the engine back in is the sump gasket, somehow forgot to get one and it appears most places are out of stock. If anyone has one in Sydney, I'd pay double the rrp to pick it up tonight or tomorrow morning haha its the half moon type...

Now I will turn my attention to the engine bay and try and clean that up as best as I can. Lots done but lots more still to do.

Exactly that yes.. Although I kinda need it yesterday haha. I'll be chasing up a few parts shops tomorrow hoping I can find one in stock.

I have a genuine set here in Greater West Sydney 5 minutes from the drags if you still need some. Also have the o ring for oil pickup and other bits and pieces like front crank and rear main seal, all genuine. 

Yeah mate, I'll jump in the car now, youll save me some running around in the morning.
