So I've just bought a 2010 FG XR6 and I noticed when driving it around that when I let off the throttle and get this whining sound coming from the back. my guess is it may be the diff? has anyone else had this before at all or know anything about this at all?

good ol falcon diff whine aahah.... very common, but I thought more ba/bf utes suffered from it though. pretty much every trade who had a falcon ute their diff whined.

was reading a little into that ahah, thanks for reply man! should I look into it more or shouldn't be a worry? first falcon ive ever bought so new to all this ahaha!

just put a loud exhaust on the car and the whine will go away.

I have 3 cars they all whine when the mrs gets in all of a sudden for some reason

 

you get used to it or turn the music up

nope, had to google it though.

 

I think that will make the whine worse.
