Was thinking about purchasing a OBD2 diagnostic scanner tool and was wondering where the plug is located to plug it into on 2006 BF Falcon XR6 ?

If anyone has any other advice on what they feel is the best one to buy or tips on how to use it etc would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

any OBD2 bluetooth scanner, android Torque app and connect 'em up.

the plug is behind the fuse panel cover right at your right knee in the drivers seat. Big white plug behind that is where you plug in the OBD2 bluetooth device.

Easiest thing is to grab one like this:

Then use the Torque app on an Android phone to read codes. Will also let you read a range of engine parameters and show them as gauges or graph them.

iPhone or android.   If you buy a short one you can permanently leave it connected and use the phone for gauges.
