I've got a set of brembos (4pot front 4 pot rear) and will be putting them on soon, just wondering if anyone knows if the brake booster and or master cylinder were different (been told the master is but unsure on booster). I know people have done it without changing booster/master cylinder so for anyone that has done it has there been more pedal travel? 

 

Only asking because the the way I see it they was 6 posting to be pushed now there is going to be 16. Would that not use more fluid resulting in sloppier pedal?

 

race brake Sydney is the one that said master is different (from memory he said) but all that does is change where the fluid is dispersed (front/rear ratio).

 

let me know what you guys know

Have seen heaps of guys do it with only changing the lines/rotors/pads/calipers without incident in terms of pedal travel. If anything the pedal travel gets better.

Yea same, no1 says anything kit maybe they don't realise. I'm pretty sure my brake booster is stuffed and don't want to replace it only to find they are different

Crack point is different on 4/1, 4/4 and 6/4

Please elaborate Aaron? As I have a 4 + 4 Brembo system. Any negatives to this?

Crack point is proportioning valve. % of brake force front/rear
