I have looked at similar, but my passion is building systems and these only require a HDD to be plugged in.

what I have been considering is a rack mount enclosure to encapsulate the mess that is in my shed

Slowly getting there.
Need to go to shop and buy a tiny star drive set to dismantle graphics card.
Then it's tube bending time.

bought a torque  drive set and took off the heatsinks and frame.

thermal pads are a real pain if you have no nails to peal the plastic backing off.

had to use tweezers
