The lighter flywheel will amplify this noise. If they gearbox oil hasn't been touched I'd suggest dumping it and refilling it with a quality oil. The old trick with the T56 was to fill it via the reverse lamp switch. This got another 500ml or so of oil into it and made a big difference to the noise.Give Mal Woods a call and see what fluid refill amount he recommends 1

Or is it purely part of the kit. I'm hoping I can shut this thing up a bit now otherwise I don't know how I'm going to deal. Can't even hear the exhaust at idle. The tr6060 needs a lighter weight oil. Penrite MGO floated my boat when I still had a manual car. Seriously ring Mal and discuss with him. He's the Tremec agent. 1
