I'm having a bit of trouble with the brake lights staying on, cause the pedal doesn't reach the light switch in its normal return position. which is super weird as it worked fine in the other car I played with the 10mm bolt that adjusts the angle of the plate with the switches, but in its maximum position it still doesn't reach the switch. I also put in a little white shim that was on the auto pedal box brake pedal and still nothing. Would I be alright to just raise the height of the brake pedal flange bit that actuates the switch with superglue or just tape or something? or is this a sign of something else that's wrong

The switches need to be reset before installing them, You need to push the switch plunger in and then twist the two tangs above the lock tabs so they line up with the lock tabs. When you install the switch and twist it the plunger will pop out and contact the pedal and thus set the length.

I gave that a go, but nothing wants to turn. the lock tabs and the tangs seem to be made of the same bit of plastic if I'm not mistaken.

Is that a ba switch?is so plunger should ratchet out. You hold the pedal down,install the switch and it sets the height when you release the pedal

I replaced the main diff bush literally less than 100 kms before I took it to the pits with a nolathane one and it was cracked the whole way through by the time I got there. What a piece of crap, im guessing the other obvious choioce would be super pro, still means ive gotta take the whole IRS out again arrgggghhhhh. The rust is pretty minor I think the guy was just being a dick there but I got a quote for 200 which is mintt. Other than that its pretty simple, should be ready in a couple weeks time! heres what she looks like now sitting in my driveway

Yep I put in a super pro bush, its outlasted the nolathane one already. Finally passed the pits yesterday, went and got my number plates, drove to a mates house and the clutch promptly shat itself. Lost all feel and couldnt get any gears. So I had to get a tow out to dads workshop where itll be sitting until I can get a new clutch. Absolutely spewing! What would you guys reccomend for a clutch kit? Its just a stock xr6t and im trying to spend as little as I can
