Went and priced some ATR Sport 2's today locally and they're $149 fitted a tyre. Thinking I'll go with them and see what they're like for that price. Any other recommendations?

I don't mind my nexen n'fera su1 roughly the same price bracket, but give the achilles a go at that price, worst case just do skids for a few months and change lol

Just realised they might have been on the fronts though! Will need to check my build thread later.

Looking at the pattern, the ATR2's would have to disperse water better than my federals. Given I'm running 275's, dry grip isn't as much of an issue as wet. Don't know what to do, lol.

Better put my new pics of my ATR sport 2 tyres in here.

15,500km which includes lots of hard braking and accelerating beyond the available traction levels

Still a lot of meat on them before wear indicators. I'm sure they will stop holding the power once they get low though.

Kumho KU31 get noisy the last 30% tread. Which means at that stage you need to smoke them up and get new tyres.

ive got sport 2's, absolute sh*t in the wet but you get that with hard tyres, still not bad value for what they are, arronm's 100% right about the ku31's, howl like a drunk dog when they wear down, the wider the tread the worse they are, still I'd have them or the atr's over feds anyday of the week
