Man you must be stoked with the new car.

I got a new headlining in mine yesterday and I am in luv with her again

But seriously , in 50 years time when your car is at some SHOW, a car nerd will walk up and say . I remember those, you hardly ever see an original one. OOhhh hold on , Nah not original , look at the stickers. Oh well nice car anyrate.

Ok so dealer just called back and they've ordered a set of genuine stripes for me from factory. Now the question is do I trust them to have someone in workshop fit them for free...or do I go with someone else in Perth who's proven they're up to the task?

Dowen, I saw let the dealer fit them and if they are not 100% they will have to redo them.

If you take it elsewhere you will not be able to take it back should anything happen to the stripes.

Its good that they are doing the right thing by you thought.

x2 Let the dealer fit. Worst case go no stripe still would look nice, maybe even better. How often do you see a stripe less GT.

when I had my BA, the stripes had to be replaced under warranty, the dealership used a specialist stripe guy and he fitted the genuine stripes supplied by the dealer, they came out perfect

How could they put non genuine stripes on it.. Wtf is wrong with car dealerships, used or new they are always the dodgiest f*cks

This!!!

You drop over 60 large and they get an Ebay sticker put on. Shame on the ordering process having it get delivered without the requested stripe kit and double shame on how the dealer tried to fix it.

Looking forward to seeing it on a cruise once you get it to 100% spec you are happy with. Don't compromise now, you bought a great car, keep at them.
