Just Got Car Tuned, Not Happy.

You would have thought if the tuner took it back their would be an invoice for the work carried out, and he wouldn't have asked why it had a stock tune realised the issue fixed it instead of making himself look like an idiot.

I got no idea how the Bent fin comes into the equation? So after the correct tune was apparently loaded on the Turbo was not screaming anymore?

Sounds like somebody has somehow mistaked 2 cars for each other or something like that.

The way I see it, he made up a whole lot of crap about my turbo thinking I'd be a sucker and say "ok just fix it and let me know how much it'll cost" but because I said I can't right now, he tuned it very bad and blamed it on the turbo so I could go back and tell him that I would like to fix the turbo. But when I called him and told him I wasn't happy with the tune, he had forgotten all the crap he spun and couldn't figure out why the tune was so sh*t

This is believable, I called these guys a week or two ago to ask a few questions and he told me with any exhaust change, even just a cat change on a fg turbo, a port and flapper mod must be done, me thinks they just want to make more money. These blokes were genuinly in my top 2 list of places to get my car tuned because they are relatively well priced compared to other places, will be staying away now.

Haha cheap is never a good reason to use a tuner! Go to a reputable shop with a no bull tuner. Plan for the worst and hope for the best.
