Remove Fg Fpv Start Button?

Featured Replies

Hello.

I want to know how to remove the Start button in a FPV GS.

Does anybody have a guide or information on what needs to be done and how to go about

putting a non FPV Ignition Barrel and key to work?

Thanks.

Someone will correct me I'm sure, but I think that all the ignition locks and keys are the same....FPV and normals. the starter button is just tied in with the ignition switch.

id like to see if you can use the start button without using the key..that would be alot better?

push to start in a pain in the ass unless it has key sensor. (like lexus etc) just sit inside and it knows the keys in the car

Both the Taurus and Chrysler 300 I drove in the states recently had the Key sensor and push start. Its actually quite good, just leave the key in the pocket and it opens and starts with the button. But having to put a key in the ign is a bit pointless in the FPV.

Its extremly pointless considering toyota camry's have had that feature for years...

push button start was put in for wank/cool factor

pretty sure an auto leccy can easily disconnect it.

im pretty sure you can even buy a kit to have the push button start installed on xrs. so cant see it being to hard to remove.
