Hi guys,

I just got myself a GoPro Hero3 White edition by claiming some FF points. Keen to get some advice from people on what mounts to use, where to mount, ideas for videos etc.... Surely some have you have got GoPros?

One of my mates mounts his underneath at the rear of his car.. It's pretty good..

I played with tapping a hole in the side of the case and running a headphone extender cable down the side of the car then mount mini mics above the exhaust pipe..

Yea I wouldn't use anything under $50. I'd gather they're for more in car camera's people want to cover insurance etc. Those 2 aren't even true 1080p so I'd imagine they're pretty ordinary.

I just watched about 20 video's of the one I'm looking at on youtube and there isn't a real lot of difference between gopro silver and it

Might see the cheapest I can get the silver for with the mounts I want compared to the eyecam sd21 (comes with heaps of mounts and accessories)

I'm using Vision Drive system it has a HD camera and produces great quality footage it was pricy but you get what you pay for.

It's also very user freindly integrating with the home PC to save, share and store footage.

It has a 16hr SIM card storage before it starts re recording over its self

Just found out the cheapy I was looking at which is $210 is 100% identical to another one on the market that sells for $350! Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing?
