It really depends on the quality of the parts you want to fit to your car...

Tein is high quality and it is a complete kit which, as you can see, comes with rear shocks and bushes to suit the leaf springs.

Compare this to say the XYZ coilover kit and you receive no rear shocks and no shackle bushes.

Tein is made in Japan, XYZ is made in Taiwan

Tein coil springs are made of high quality springs steel, XYZ coils are not.

Tein struts are made of solid steel mounts, XYZ lower brackets have been known to bend (in BA/BF)

Like always, there is a good reason why you pay more for one product compared to another when it comes to Suspension

@ Rowdyburns

I have rung a few people here in Adelaide and no one could offer me any advice, I am new and have very little idea so I was seeking the help and advise from others before making what I would call an expensive decision, im purely trying to learn from the people with experience so im not sure if that's a reason to post a response like that

As for the other guys I really appreciate the responses, I will try track down a phone number for the Pat wholesale suspension

As Pat said Tein's are much better quality but depends what you're after. If you don't track the car and you want it low then tein's aren't worth the cash and better off with xyz or a spring shock combo.

haha mate I was only having a dig at you for posting 2 identical threads at almost the same time. Nothing more.

Back to business, I have looked into this kit myself, it has come highly recommended but at that price I can't justify it as I have never and will never track my ute. When I decide to lower it, it will be king springs and bilsteins all round, that will be suitable for my street needs.
