Where To Get Xr6 Turbo To Manifold Bolts

just wondering if the bolts that hold the dump pipe to the cat converter pipe on a ba xr6t are loose to the point the bolts are hangin out/missing (3 of them)

can this cause problems??

I tightened up one and put another back in as it fell out also unsure about the third if it even exists still

can it cause problems?

I have not driven the car since tightening them as its still up on car stands atm as doing work on teh rear end lol

but anyway f*ck me it boosts and pulls heaps better now, didnt think that would cause it?? I need to do up the one that I cannot get to but when I remove the turbo etc to change the engin mount, ill do it then

I tried everywhere in Cairns. Boltmasters, NQ Fasteners, muffler centres, Bursons, Repco, Autobarn, engine rebuilders etc. The only place that had the same studs (offset thread) was Ford.... $10 bucks each.

I was tightening my turbo to manifold bolts every couple of months. I end up getting Nord Lock washers (2 piece washer) off eBay, $20 for 4. 

 

I havent tightened them or smelt exhaust in they cabin for about 6 months so far.

yep, nordloc is a great solution get's a bit expensive with 12 of them, though haha
