MADF6 Member 399 Member For: 17y 4m 13d Posted 29/12/12 12:30 AM Share Posted 29/12/12 12:30 AM I have sport maxx GTs in 295/30 and they stick like crazy. But if your happy running semi slicks, then throw on some ET streets on 17s, or even 15s if you wanna be bad ass. But your in trouble if it rains. What size rim are you running for the 295s?Is it a ute or sedan, and did you have to pump the guards? MADF6 Member 399 Member For: 17y 4m 13d Posted 29/12/12 12:35 AM Share Posted 29/12/12 12:35 AM I honestly get alot of variants, From experience I know 10.5" rims scrub the rear of a BF sedan. If you stick to a 10" rim and a 255 tire you will have no scrub issues, But you would be best to lip the guards as a heavy pot hole could see you catching it.As for 275 and larger width tire im pretty positive a BF sedan will scrub the walls of a 30 profile as I have seen it happen many a time.My BF F6 is running 275 on a 10" rim and lowered at rear on SSL kings and I hardly ever get scrubbing. MADF6 Member 399 Member For: 17y 4m 13d Posted 03/01/13 12:03 PM Share Posted 03/01/13 12:03 PM (edited) Hmm so I'd be ok with 295s on my 10" rim after a little roll action...? Mines a sedan.
