I'm with damo. I was going to say start at $10k if you have the folding in front of them. Like he said they're still in front especially if it's just hit the yard. They save on advertising and detailing plus holding it.

They will bully tactic you though so just stick to your guns. 

 

These cars are plentyful and cheap so also use that to your advantage

looking at getting into the xr6t game and saw this one. I really like the look, colour, rims, but its got 280,000 kms so im a bit wary. 40 minute drive away so wanted your opinion before I waste a day looking at a lemon.

Ahhh...

the paint is I <3 Bananased on the rear pillars. 

Looks like rust near the strut towers.

I had a BA Xr6 for sale recently that looked awesome in the pics but in person it was rough as. So be prepared to be shocked by that one. Especially being black. 

Also the chances of it having a full service history are slim. 

 

Having said all that, if you don't plan on going crazy with power mods it's not so bad for the price. I wouldn't be paying $4k for it though.  

If you haven't driven any before it's probably worth a look anyway just to get a gauge on what they're like. 

I drove a Mk11 BA turbo that had a $10k sticker on it that wasn't worth $4k so you never know your luck.
