if I was you I'd test the waters and attempt to pull out if happy with the car coz they WONT let u walk... they should discount a lot more than what they have... give it a go and u never know might save yourself a few k....

remember... they wanna sell a car more than u wanna buy one so play hard ball and dont just be a duck.....

(a duck is someone who walks in and buys everything)

had a young bloke last week buy a second hand GTS.... paid schedule price (price on the origional window)... we made clear 8.5k profit on that car .....

if he was smarter woulda got an ok deal.

Hi guys

I'm new here and thought I'd make this quick and easy. I'm finally out of my trade now and looking to reward myself with a fg xr6t ute.

- Are auto's stronger?

- rough price on rego in SA?

- And any other details I need to look out for when buying one.

Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Autos are weaker, but manuals will need a clutch with any more than 330rwkw.

Don't know what Sa rego is, but SA= free power.

My wife's car was a 'demo' with 34kms on the clock.. Had been registered and was one of the salesmen's cars.. So unless he lived 200m from work in assuming it didn't get used much.. Knocked nearly 9 grand off the new price though as it'd been registered for 4 weeks..

Mine was like that, 65km MK1 with premium pack, Mats & tint. 38k
