  • Oh dear. My XC has a brand new 378 cu in engine, the latest aluminium Yates heads, a Vortech supercharger, and a Tremec TKO box. Do all of these mods now magically make my car a Mustang? Or a GT40? Fa

  • How is it not a BA? You're a dead sh*t if you think you can do low 8's and keep it all factory spec. A record has been broken here for these cars and this is the response we get? Bloody disgraceful.

Well done to All the guys involved in this car. It takes a lot to get a car like this going this fast!

Looks like we have a bit if work to do to catch up again now. The new benchmark is there and TRP and the team will get back down to business to see if we can step it up some more.

Great work here. Congats.

I don't think anyone said it was a streetcar. Doesn't mean it's not an XR6 turbo. Congratulations on the time.

We will be doing that you can be assured Jules.

It's been tuff when my mechanic has been overseas for 5 months. The car has been in hibernation during that time. He is back now so we can get back to it.

Awesome stuff. The fact it did those 2 runs on its first outing is amazing and shows some huge potential. Well done to all involved.

When I saw this I thought it was the car with the 1398 making the big numbers on the engine dyno. whens that thing getting a car strapped to it

Question for you all then...

That VL running single digit numbers down the strip. Has a barra t engine. What is it? A Holden? Or a ford?

What about all commodores since VT Series 2? They are all running chev engines, so what are they? Expensive Daewoo or Chev?

You can go on and on about "its not a BA" etc etc, but to me it looks like a BA and was originally a BA so its a BA.

Its not as if its a funny car with a custom chassis & fibreglass body - it still has all the underpinnings of a factory car.

Awesome job on the 8 - thatd be bloody fun!! :)
