September 28, 201214 yr #31 And always avoid filling at a station that's getting fuel delivered..What's that?
September 28, 201214 yr #32 What's that?Because as fuel is getting delivered, the sediment and gunk sitting at the bottom of the big underground tanks gets stirred up.. And you want to avoid putting that in your car.
September 28, 201214 yr #33 Bloody iPhones! You got what I meant to say...I was thinking that but wondered it makes sense but wouldn't they have filters?
September 28, 201214 yr #34 Man I said that 13 posts ago! Kids today...So I take it there isn't anything that will do that cheaply then?
September 28, 201214 yr #35 I was hoping someone would chime in with a suggestion :(Would revolutionise the car scene I reckon, if it could be accurate, fast and relatively cheap. Usually have to pick two of those though, and I'm not sure you could get away with accurate and cheap either.
September 29, 201214 yr #37 And always avoid filling at a station that's getting fuel delivered..Everytime I fill up is when the truck is there re-filling :( The BP I have trouble with isn't a small one its a big truck one
September 30, 201214 yr #38 was only BP Ultimate but switched to V Power because it's cheaper and I noticed zero difference with performance/consumption. however I still use BP Ultimate on occasion. Never put Caltex in my car. Not while I've owned it anyway.
September 30, 201214 yr #39 well im glad im not the only one that has used uniteds premium 100 octane. I saw it and thought this looks sweet. I put quater of tank to test, and am very surprised how much more punch I get out of the girl.Although the cars fumes do seem to smell quite strong now.
September 30, 201214 yr #40 I fail to see how an extra 2 octane points, in a car not tuned to suit the fuel, will give it more punch. It's all in your head people.
