So basically stock with the 11.8 psi actuator. And what dont you understand about torque?

if im accelerating flat out from a standing start it rarely does it BUT if im driving and I flatten it when it kicks back a gear it surges..wtF

as said many times before in this and the other thread, something not right if you had 12lb actuator and 8psi tune.

if it's running like crap, why are you still thrashing it.

three options

1) take it back to your tuner and get a touch up tune + fix whatevers wrong

2) take it to a new tuner and start from scratch

3) new engine + step 1 or 2

you decide whats the best value for money

To answer your original question, no you can't just swap it out and stick the old one back in, if its tuned with the 11.8psi actuator.

If you don't want to go back to btw, go somewhere else, but get it sorted asap, it seems like its not the actuator that's the problem..
