Yeah there t56 is meant to be allot weaker then ours, but that doesn't explain why the shifters are so different. The XRT's seem to have some of the most expensive aftermarket parts in Australia, god knows why. No competition I guess.

Has anyone actually run a before and after time with a short shifter to see if it gains you any time of the track? I'm sure they feel faster but would be good to see some results.

There not so much for making your car quicker Dillz for the average driver, there so you don't miss a gear as easy. Smoother changes and just since feel with a shorter shifter than that long stock one.

Ahh ok, I thought they were for quicker shifts. If it's just for feel then I don't think you need one on the T6060, would be pretty hard to miss a gear.

Easy to miss second because it locks out after 40ks on the tr6060 and needs some force. Short shifter should help this I imagine.

Quicker changes from 2nd to 3rd and better feel. I can't remember for sure but I think it made the shifts 22mm shorter.

It does shorten the throw, but if you try to 'drive it' second to third, you can still miss a Gear.

If you just use 'soft Hands', it will find the Gear everytime!

Worked wonders at the Track where cornering can effect good Gear changes.

It's another good product from Mal Wood.
