I replaced the clutch on my 02 ba xr6 turbo on the weekend. since then I have put one full tank of 95 unleaded coz I was too poor to afford 98.. for few days now when I put my foot flat to the floor and it hits boost it goes fine till it hits about 4000RPM it shudders and looses all power , sometimes comes good , but most time it just boggs down and goes no where and have to fully back off.. I pluged scan tool in and keeps coming up with 'torque converter clutch pressure control solenoid control circuit high' any one got any ideas on what could be .. boost guage says its boosting at 14 psi. but scan tools try saying 167 kpa witch I looked on google and that's like 22 psi I think . so I dont know whats going on,, any help would be appreciated cheers 1

Are you stupid or just testing your luck? Your lucky you Havnt blown your engine. If it's tuned for 98 ONLY run 98! You may have saved 10 bux which may cost you thousands. About your problems, could be coils or a busted cat?

tanner11 Member 10 Member For: 14y 9m 12d Gender: Male Posted 13/12/11 11:40 PM Author Posted 13/12/11 11:40 PM Yes it was tuned with a capa flash box and was dyno,d apparently. I tryedd setting it back to factory but seemed to make no difference. it cost me 100 bucks to fill 52 litres and cost me 85 with the 95 and being on second yr apprentice wages dont help the back pockets its only reason I filled up with that

Filling with the wring fuel can cost you thousands. If there's one thing you do with this car, don't skimp on the fuel. Get your car looked at asap. Sounds like you could have a big issue.
