hey all im ment to receive my bf mk2 xr6t sedan this week.

yeah its gettin trucked to me :)

anyways im lookin at buyin gen bf gt-p 19s for it and lowering it but I have a steep ass drive way sooo how low have u gone?

I was thinking ssl in the fronts with shocks to match and ultras in the rear to match.

also would love some pics of your cars lowered.

I think mine has super lows in it. It looks and handles good. But very impractical for my country town. Not many driveways can be tackled and you occasionally have to cross speed humps using two lanes. Mind you I have a gt front bumper. It may not be so bad with the stocker.

Most springs barely lower these things. Go the SSL / Ultras combo or you'll regret it later.

Easiest way to check clearance is to park your car with the lowest point of the car at the highest point of the driveway - then see how much clearance you have.

Once you measure that you will know how low you can go - or just do what Henz said and budget for a new bumper...

hey guys, can you get away with SSL/UL springs on stock shocks? or absolute no no? ive yet to ring around places for quotes im just curious more than anything.

carl, maybe lowering isnt going to work.

see if you can get up the driveway stock height first. or sell up and buy a house with a flat driveway.

When I was buying my house, one of the criteria was a flat driveway. Noobs like Wormy having to drive at 4wd height :)
