Standard rail and reg with a walbro intank, apart from the noise I cannot fault it and it has served me well. If I was in your situation I would just upgrade to an A1000 or maybe even try a Holley pump. I don't actually find the 044 that noisy, anyone who comes for a ride in the car loves the buzz/prime on start up.E85 is something that I am on a steep learning curve with.
